Coach Return Policy

Coach Return/Refund/Exchange Policies:

At Coach, making new and returning customers satisfied with their purchases is of utmost importance. Customer service representatives are always eager to help with any questions needed to expedite a Return, Exchange or Refund of merchandise and/or monies to their customers.

Time Allotted:

Purchased merchandise has 60 days from the initial purchase date allowed for returns.

Condition of the Returned/Exchanged Item:

Items must be in the same new, unused and original condition they were sent in.

Returns Via Insured/Traceable Mail Service:

  • Fill out the Return Form included with the original package, and put the Form back inside the package with the returned items.
  • All U.S. returns need to use the Prepaid UPS Return Label that came with the order package. Attach the Prepaid UPS domestic return label to the shipping package, but keep the bottom part of the label that has the tracking number printed on it as a receipt.
  • Take the package to any UPS site: UPS stores, UPS drop boxes, UPS customer centers and/or authorized retail outlets. One can find the closest UPS site at www.ups.com/dropoff. Individuals may also have UPS arrange a pickup at a preferred address.

*Please Note: On refunds, a Return Handling Fee of $7.00 is deducted from the refund amount when a customer uses a Prepaid UPS Return Label. However, standard returned items, including footwear, are not subject to the $7.00 charge. Processing time takes 3-5 business days after arrival of returned items at the Coach Returns department.

Returns to Stores:

Online or retail store purchases may be returned/exchanged to a Coach store with the accompanying online invoice or store-bought receipt. For your convenience, please use the Store Locator found at the official Coach website.

Pay Pal Purchase Returns:

  • Returns using a PayPal account are issued refunds on receipt of the new/unused merchandise to the Jacksonville facility within the first 60 days of the purchase.
  • Presently, we do not exchange merchandise paid through PayPal; however, a credit can be applied towards a new purchased item.
  • Merchandise paid with PayPal, or other 3rd party payment processors, may only be returned in exchange for a Coach Merchandise Card.

Monogramming:

Monogrammed merchandise may not be exchanged/returned unless the monogram is on a removable Coach tag.

Price Adjustments:

Only marked down items can receive price adjustments within 14 days of purchase at a Coach retail store or from Coach.com if accompanied by the original receipt and item.

Coach's return policy is a lie. My son bought me a gift at a store. He paid cash since the clerk told him I could get a refund in cash if I didn't like it. I went to the store with the gift receipt and the manager refused to refund. My only option was to exchange for a more expensive item I did not want.

They lied about processing it in 3-5 days or even 7-10 for that matter they received my return on the 18th it's now the 25th and they still haven't processed anything

In trying to return the purse the day after I received it and going to your website for instructions, there was no prepaid label in the package when received. I will attempt to call your office and if I can not make contact, I will return to the store.

this purse looks nothing like what I ordered. This was my first time ordering from you and it will definitely be my last. The only good thing was the quick arrival and now the quick return!

I ordered a purse at coach outlet then after 15 mins I decided to cancel it as I realized it was an impulse buy. Sadly, coach said they can't cancel it and in case I'm
not satisfied, I'll just return it after receiving it. Wowww. What kind of customer service is that. They dont even have return label so basically the shipping fee will be shouldered by me which is effin expensive. So i opted to keep it, No CHOICE! ?

I bought a purse that is way too big. When I went to ship it, I realized it isn't prepaid, and it would cost over $41 to return it. In addition to the $10 off I had received, I would be into this for more than $51 and still wouldn't have a purse. I kept it rather than be out that much money, and I will not buy from the outlet site again.

Ordered an item online. Called customer services 30 min after order was placed to change the style number...They refused to cancel the order before it shipped..Litterally 30 min after placing the order at 10-1030 PM

Coach made a false statement with their return policy. They sent me the wrong item and I tried to return it tru UPS but I was told that the label from coach is not prepaid so I have to pay 30 dollars if I have to ship that item. Their label clearly says postage not paid. I tried to call coach multiple times but I was put onhold for an hour or so so I hang up. I am very frustrated. Coach be honnest to your customers, you are making money from us!! Have a better service!!

Coach return policy is False! I followed instructions for returns. POSTAGE IS NOT PRE PAID AS STATED! LABEL CLEARLY SAID POSTAGE REQUIRED! I had to pay over $35 to return 2 pairs of shoes and 1 purse. Coach all the money you make. DO BETTER and stop lying to consumers who clearly love your products. Items returned 6/5/20 still no response or refund! DO BETTER COACH USA

I am trying to return a Coach handbag per the instructions online. However, the enclosed label was not POSTAGE PAID. The label clearly said postage required and UPS would not accept. Tried calling the 800 number and was on hold for 30 minutes. Finally, hung up. This company has great products but horrible, horrible customer service. I am going back to Dooney & Bourke who know how to take care of their customers!!! Never again Coach.

This policy must have changed since this post. I do not see the same wording on Coach's website, and a customer service representative told me my purchase with a monogrammed tag only is non-refundable.

I bought a Coach wallet some years ago. At the time, the exchange policy was such that if anything of their make wore out, they would take it in return for a new item. That was the understood contract under which I purchased it. But now I see they have changed the policy. How is that even legal?

I am disappointed about the returns policy. They mentioned a prepaid UPS label but I ended up paying $33.00 for sending back a pair of shoes. They should be more clear about the conditions.

I was unaware of the 30 day exchange policy (even with a receipt) and I don't live near a coach outlet. If I had known I would have made sure to return it within that timeframe.
I will not be shopping at Coach ever again!

Not happy with Coach's purses anymore. I bought a coach purse at Christmas last year and the stitching is already falling apart on the handles. It was a beautiful purse, but for the price - I would expect it to last a little longer then that. My mom bought one at the same time as me and hers is falling apart too.
Makes me wonder who/what is making these purses like they are garbage now but still charging customers a fortune.
I've been buying coach purses for years and never seen them this bad.

Everybody keeps talking about the "Prepaid UPS Return Label." For the second time, I have ordered Coach purses online, and for the second time, there is no PREPAID UPS Return Label included. The only label included AGAIN only shows the mailing address. I have asked UPS drivers about this for the second time, and have again been told that these labels are NOT "Prepaid." So........for the second time, I have paid for the return shipment to Coach for a refund. I am VERY frustrated!!! Is this happening to anyone else? Either include a "Prepaid" label, or tell the truth and let the customer know they will have to pay for their return shipment themselves!!!!

I was told this week that a new 2017 Coach Canada policy at a regular (not outlet) locations is that all sales are final on reduced product. Period.
This appears to be in direct contradiction to my previous experiences at Coach and is not reflected in online policies.
Can someone verify this?

I ask for a return extension exception due to the fact that the recipient of the items passed away and shortly thereafter my husband had intensive surgery and I have been his caretaker. The 1-800 coach# was unsympathetic. Yes, I've had the items for 4 months... They acted as if this was a mortal sin. There are plenty of high end stores such as Nordstroms that have a very liberal return policy. Luckily, a local outlet offered me an exchange or store credit, but I couldn't get a refund due to using PayPal. Not sure what that has to do with it... I've purchased items from Macy's on line using PayPal, returned it to a store and the $$ has been refunded to my PayPal account, no problem. While I'm super grateful to the outlet store for them offering an exchange or credit, my experience with the Coach 1-800 has left me tainted & disappointed. Coach should take a page from Macy's, Belk's or better yet Nordstroms return policy. They have become non Customer Service friendly. I get your policies but acts of God happen to people every day. There are plenty of other brands to choose from. Again, I'm not discounting the exchange/credit, but to be honest, the desire to OWN ANYTHING COACH HAS WHOLEHEARTEDLY LEFT ME

my experience with coach was deplorable and deoressing,I buy coaches ALl the time and now the return policy isn,t good at all because whose purse normally tear up within a year especially a coach,so I returned two purses abd a wristlet, and only got coupons this time I and my sister was,very displeased with coach, I had bought Gere one an wedudb,t kniw about the knew return policy all I can say is u will be losing,valuable customers because we buy,these beautiful purses because we thought it was a lifetime warranty on them, coach is the only purses I buy i,m wondering now,well just remember sometimes these expensive purse don't show wear and tear until yrs later,and we get nothing byt a meager discount card hardly worth it.MN any of my friends has gone to Michael Kors.

I am the Queen of receipt keeping but can't find my coach purse receipt. May I use my credit card bill as proof of purchase for a refund if I take it back to the store I purchased it from?

I bought a Coach lady handbag. After a few uses, the decorative hair on the bag started to fall off in big batches. I don't use that very often, so the 60 day warranty period had long passed. In any event, I did not expect such a shoddy quality of a $150 handbag from Coach. It's very disappointing.
