Half Price Books Returns and Refunds

You must return merchandise along with the receipt, original packaging and the price tag within seven days of purchase in order to receive a refund. Half Priced Books may also require identification and a phone number. Half Priced Books offers refunds for cash, checks and credit card. You must wait 12 business days for a cash refund on a check. Half Priced Books refunds credit cards charges by crediting the account on which the merchandise was purchased. Half Priced Books offers exchange or store credit for merchandise returned within 30 days of purchase. Half Priced Books can deny or limit refunds at our discretion. Gift cards must be used on purchases; Half Priced Books does not offer cash for gift cards. For software, Half Priced Books offers only store credit, and the return must be made with the receipt within a month of the purchase. Half Priced Books follows copyright law.
