Most difficult place to get through to and so hard to speak to a real person. managed to connect on Thursday, January 27th. After making a roundtrip booking, for March 8th from JFK, NY to Manchester, UK, returning March 23rd,.and using thousands of AVIOS points, I found the flight was cheaper booking online with no points?! <br /> The agent I spoke with on Thursday assured me I could cancel my flight with 24 hours and receive a full refund. I tried to cancel, after 5 calls (kept disconnecting) and speaking to four different people I was told by one person there would be a $300 fee, then the next agent said there would be $400 fee? I did not cancel at that time. This morning, the original booking agent from yesterday called me to see if I wanted to cancel and get the refund. Unfortunately, I was in my car and could not take the call. She did leave her name and extension. I am now trying to cancel my flights, made four calls within five minutes, first three did not complete after pressing requested number, last one advised my call could not be taken and to call back later. What happens if I don't reach somebody today by 7:45 p.m. US Eastern time?
