Here are some tips to getting your refund. First have kroger refund policy booked mark or opened on your mobile browser just in case it is needed. Make sure it is the current one that is 30 days return window. Because during the height of the pandemic it was 14 days and that link is still accessible on their website, and I have encounter an employee trying to use the old policy to deny the refund. If you have the receipt shouldn't be any problem, if you can't find it, be sure to register your Kroger rewards to have access to you account on the website or app. I prefer the website due to the horrible design of the app and the access krogers has to your phone. Employees wont tell you and from my experience the majority don't seem to know that you can access your purchase history and get a digital copy of your receipt from the website or app, when you are logged into your account. If an they tell you they wont take, state that on Kroger websites, "There are two receipt options: paper receipt or digital receipt." Next they might say has to be at the store you purchase at, or it's 14 days, again on the store return policy "All Kroger Co. Family of Stores can accept returns of items purchased at any Kroger Company family of stores location within a 30-day window of purchase." I have encounter some determined to stick by the rules that goes against the website. That's when you ask to speak with the manager. Let the manager know that Kroger websites, it says the store policy is at any location, receipt or digital receipt and is 30 days. I have yet to be denied a return by referencing what their store refund policy is on their websites. Now the reason I mentioned to have the refund policy opened or bookmarked is because I've had the Customer Service Employee tell me to show them. So you show them, and more than likely will still try to deny that's when you ask to speak to the manager on duty. Every store is different, it really depends on the training they received from management. I even had an employee tell me that the website is wrong after showing them their own store return policy. But as long as you have the receipt or digital receipt, and are within the 30 day return window and not restricted return item ie. baby formula. Then you should never, ever be denied. Hope this helps.
