My husband bought a 700 dollar memory foam mattress from the fredmeyer in Sumner WA. Upon purchasing he clarified the return policy and was told returns were excepted with the oroginal reciept or club card within 90/days of the purchase. He did not get the correct mattress so we took it to the Fredmeyer in Auburn WA where he was told they weren't comfortable returning such a highly priced item ( whatever that means ) we had the debit card we made the purchase with, original receipt and club card. Still no luck. We took it back to the Sumner fredmeyer and were told there system was down and they were not doing retuns at this time and that this was true of all fredmeyer. Which was a lie because we had just been to the auburn fredmeyer and they mentioned nothing of the sort. We then took it to the fredmeyer in puyallup WA and he was told that due to the price point we had to return it to the store we purchased it at. ( which was Sumner) and they wouldn't take it either. I am highly dissaponted in how this was handled. As we have read the policy through and through and none of the excuses presented to us were in the policy at all.
