I tried to return something at Kroger (unused items) and my receipt was 20 days old. I was told they no longer accept returns after 14 days- if this is such an important rule from "CORPORATE" as I was told, then why is this not on the receipt. I would have made a special trip to get there within the time frame. There is a SMALL sign posted in the return line (well it is a little late for that). I wasnt even allowed to talk to a manager about this. I was told to call the 1800 number b/c this was coming down from "CORPORATE." I have always been a huge Kroger fan, but not so much now. What if I had COVID and had to quarantine for 14 days...but to make this rule from CORPORATE even more crazy- I can still return this stuff without a receipt- so tell me the reason for this stupid rule anyway- which needs to be printed on the receipt.
