Fred Meyer was the last store to start excepting returns again. Even though all the other retailers big and small gave actual thought to its customers and actually cared. Example was Target. They stopped excepting returns and when they started doing them again, they adjusted the time frame for people to get the stuff bought in March - May a chance to get the stuff returned. Whats the point of starting to allow returns and to go back 2 weeks prior when people were spending thousands going back months to March. All the stores were willing to work with the customers. I mean Fred Meyer was like the only store within many miles of me that actually sold name brand shoes and merchandise. But they close the fitting rooms and then deny you the chance to return or exchange an item. It wasn't even advertised of this new policy. I had to find out by going into the store walking up to customer service and got denied rudely. I have been waiting since April to return or exchange 2 Columbia jackets sizes L. Was told no, no, no, and then told soon very soon we will allow returns. And then the day comes in June and they are only going back 2 weeks. So I'm stuck with $160.00 for 2 coats that don't fit. They kept telling me it was up to the CDC when they were going to start excepting returns. But yet Target, Big 5, Big Lots, all said the same thing and all started to except returns months before Fred Meyer.I loved Fred Meyer but to take away a customer's right to change their mind and get a refund is ugly.
