I had bought 2 aquarium heaters, same brand, and both stopped working in less than a year. Returned one without any problems. Tried to return the other one that stopped working and the woman just kept saying they can only return a different brand of heaters. Every time I said I've done it before, they woman kept cutting me off and saying they only return a certain brand. I finally got frustrated and said, I must be wrong, it must have been a different brand. I couldn't believe how unhelpful the woman was. I'm not sure if she was a manager or not. I didn't look at her name tag. But from what I've experienced and read, what she said wasn't PetSmart's policy.
