When you return a gift that you received to Pottery Barn, they do not provide a merchandise credit right then and there. They will *EITHER* credit the recipient (which is not always preferable) *OR* issue a merchandise credit (gift card) and send it to you in the mail ... six weeks later. This is not an ideal return policy for a received gift and you shouldn't have to wait for the merchandise credit - you should be able to walk in the store and exchange the gift that you received for something else.<br /> <br /> Also, as others commented, Pottery Barn *SHOULD* include product reviews on their site.
