I bought Tide and Oxiclean from our local Smith's store with cash. Came home to find out that my husband had already bought them and for less money from Walmart. I had my receipt but when I tried to return the items a week was told to enter in my freshvalues number, I did just to be told it was wrong?? How could that be when I've had my card listed with my phone number for over 10yrs?? I then remembered that the self checkout cashier had to assist me, and for some reason told me to start my transaction over so I did. I assumed that my card was the one still being used since the screen said "freshvalues member information received". As it turned out the cashier had entered their number. This is not the first time that one of their employees used their personal card for my purchas. I spent over $300 but noticed that my fuel points were not there when I went to get gas the next day. When I looked at my receipt I saw that the freshvalues customer number was not mine. This is totally unacceptable to begin with but to be denied my money back with a receipt that shows my EBT account being used but due to the freshvalue number being used (that I obviously didn't have) I couldn't get a refund. I have 2 children and while I will sooner or later use those products, every penny spent every month matters.
