I just purchased the Nuface Fix device from Neiman Marcus online. I noticed there was a crack on the plastic round the metal conductor. That is a serious concern as this is the most important part of the device. So, I went to neiman palo alto today try to return the item due to its defective unit. First, I went to the third floor customer service to return the unit. They refused to take back the item because this consider as beauty product. The new policy is that if you purchased the beauty product, then it can only be returned at beauty counter. Honestly, I can hardly keep it up with Neiman' return policy these days. They have changed so much over the last 2 years. Anyway, I went down to the beauty counter on the first floor. I found someone who is available to help me. I told her that this is a beauty item therefore I'm returning it here. She said yes. Then, she saw the package was open and immediately she told me it's not refundable. Well, I understand that open box is not refundable. I explained that the item was defective. But, she went on said that i can take this back but you will not get your money back. Also because the was purchased online. Omg! I was already surprised by the fact "you buy and You owned" policy. In addition to that, I can't return the item even it is defective. Well, I will "eat" this purchase this time because there is no point to auge. I don't know how much longer this ridiculous return policy will last. Perhaps, this is a new trick to generate more sales revenue for Neiman now. Whatever that is, I'll not stand for it. I told the beauty counter lady that this will be the last time I buy any beauty product from Neiman and walked away.
