Nick, in Customer Service at the north Seattle FM is terrible at his job. "Customer Service" means not being rude to customers.......right?

I needed to return some clothes and had the receipt, but it was "expired". The clothes had the tags on, I had not worn them. I apologized for not bringing my return in sooner (it's a long drive from my home) and asked if I could get store credit. Nick said no, because the total for what I was returning is over the limit of $75. OK, then is it possible to keep some of the items, and return a couple that total less than $75? Nick said no, it's company policy that all of the items that a customer brings for return have to be returned together. What??!! OK...so now I have $250 of clothes that I can't use and can't return. I asked Nick "Is there anything you can do? Do you have any suggestions?" Nick looked at me and said, "You can keep the clothes." RUDE! I was mad, but just wanted to be done by then. My kids and I were hungry and tired. So then I asked, "Can I pay for these other clothes I'm buying here?" Nick says, in a rude tone, "No, you go to the grocery cashiers." I look behind me and see long lines of customers waiting for each cashier. At that point, my head exploded. No, actually I raised my voice and said, "No, we are leaving. We are not buying anything here at this store ever!" My kids were freaked out because I don't usually yell at people. So that sucked. But at least they got to see that you don't have to take from someone who is getting paid to help you.
