Nutrisystem Return Policy

Nutrisystem has a simple return policy. You can return any unopened Nutrisystem item, except frozen foods, for a refund with no questions asked. To obtain a refund, simply call Nutrisystem's Customer Service department at 1-800-585-5483 to receive a Return Authorization Number. Returns must be requested within 30 days after receiving the package.

The Return Authorization Number (RMA#) must be included with the package you are returning. You must include the original packing slip that came with the order. If you do not have a packing slip, please write the original order number on a paper enclosed within your package and send the return to:

Refunds may take up to six weeks to be processed. Shipping charges are non refundable. Frozen food items may not be returned for refund. If a frozen food item shipment is refused at the time of delivery, Nutrisystem will apply a $30 fee to your account. Nutrisystem recommends using Insured Parcel Post or UPS to ship your return package. Furthermore, you should keep your package tracking information and/or return shipping receipt until the refund has been successfully applied to your Nutrisystem account.

I love this program!I've been on it ten weeks and lost 15 pounds .The only problem is they canceled my account for no reason and I didn't tell them too.I wish they would let me add the chicken burritos without the alacart they are great but very expensive 6.50 a piece .I love nutrasystem I will sign back up on the third .

Nutri System is a extremely poor program. They are your best friend to start with and then they fall off the face of earth. I would not recommend Nutrisystem to anyone with significant weight loss goals. Both my wife and I started the program 6 months ago and stayed on it religiously for 2 months and only achieved a few pounds of weight loss. I would be happy to share my experience in more detail with anyone. All Nutrisystem wants is more orders no real focus on effectiveness and management of the program.

Nutrisystem is a fine program. It helped me lose 20 lbs and the food is fine. You learn what you like and don't like and so if something is not to your taste...don't order it again. I really like the breakfast bars and lunch bars. They are very convenient...I keep them in my desk for those "emergency" days where I need to grab something fast. The snacks are pretty good too. The dinners are good to have when you don't feel like planning dinner but don't want to resort to impulse eating (like fast food). Last week when my box of non-frozen foods arrived melted (probably the Fed-Ex driver's fault as the tracking has it on the truck from 6am to 4:30pm in 90+ degrees weather and hot sun) I called and although the menu of options on the phone were a bit confusing at first it wasn't too hard to figure out my best bet for an extension #. As soon as I explained what had happened the operator ordered me a whole new box for express shipping...even the non-meltable items like popcorn. Overall I am satisfied with my experience...not planning to diet forever...was just looking to lose some of that COVID weight and explore some grab-and-go options for my busy lifestyle.

This company is a complete joke. You never can get anybody live on the phone. They double charged your account. Food taste like cardboard. And I need to get a refund on my unused food that is pretty much a whole box full. I just read that I need an authorization return number to return my stuff. Had no idea that I needed this number in order to return. I called this one 800 number to obtain my return shipping number, you don't even get a selection to talk to anybody. Then I chatted with the one on one person, she wanted me to pay five dollars extra did you get that number!!! Seriously? More financial fees related to Nutrisystem? I want my return money back now, I want to talk to a live person now, this isn't OK,

This company is unbelievable!!! They shipped the Ready-to-Eat food with no real issues. The frozen food, on the other hand, has been an absolute nightmare. Granted, not really Nutrisystem's fault in that it's Fed-Ex that is failing due to Covid 19 delays. But after multiple shipments arriving without dry ice and melted, you would think that they would find a better way to ship it. While waiting for the third frozen food shipment, I decided that it's just not worth the hassles involved. In order for me to get my refund (within 14 day cancellation) I too have to pay to return the dry foods. Not my fault that they can't get the other half of my order to me in edible form, but it's my responsibility to pay to ship back the dry half. What a waste of hours on the phone on hold and no one able to get past the cookie-cutter response of "there's nothing they can do". (Sorry, not sorry!)
DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS COMPANY, contrary to what they say, YOU really aren't that important!

As with any scam....they immediately started telling me how my account would be charged...and they got me. I am not going through the return process because I am sure it will involve more frustration. AND as soon as I cancelled they charged my account more money. Steer clear folks.

I was on Nutrisystem (faithfully) 2 months and only lost 3 pounds. (I thought the frozen food was good) I started calling after the 1st week to ask what I was doing wrong. After 7 calls and 6 e-mails, I still had not hear from them. Finally after 9 weeks and still only losing those 3 pounds, someone answered the phone. She was so nice and sent me their return label. They had ALL my e-mails and I had documented my calls. I sent everything back as directed. She said within 15 days I would receive a refund. That was 1 month ago and NO REFUND.

This is my second time on nutrisystem. My first time I lost 50lbs in a month that was 10 years ago. This time around I went with the diabetic plan. I lost a total of 20lbs. They charged my card a week ahead of time for my 3rd month-which broke my account- I had to put back several bday gifts for my daughter's first birthday and a ton of groceries. Once I saw the PENDING charge I immediantly called to cancel. Nothing had been shipped the payment was still being processed. The guy kept pushing for me to put the order on hold or not to cancel as we are in a pandemic and certain foods are scarce. I flipped told the guys I can afford shopping I'm an essential worker what I can't afford is an extra $344 in food for myself I have kids to feed and am a single mom. So he finally cancelled my order. However I'm on my 12th day of waiting for my refund. It shouldn't take this long for my refund as the entire pending charge was supposed to be cancelled I figured 2 days tops. Swear these guys allowed it to finish processing before canceling it. You can bet if I don't have my money back by Friday they will be hearing from my lawyer.

Food is an absolute joke. The burger is the size of a sausage biscuit and its literals a patty and bread. Frozen. This is just one example. Most of what they send you are unhealthy snacks. This system is a joke and a complete ripoff.

I just started Nutri-System. I had tried it before years ago. I do not like the food that is shelf life. It reminds me of MRE's in the military. Wasn't tasty. I am returning all of this and I have to pay shipping!!!. I was not impressed as this cost alot of money. I received my shipment on Friday, called this morning and wanted to cancel. The shakes taste good, but this dry stuff is not for me.

The TV ad "Lose 18 pounds in the first two months; money back guaranteed." I didn't notice the 14 day and they never said it on TV. I wasn't losing any weight but thought I would get my money back is I didn't lose 18 pounds in the first two months so I stuck with it. The food was terrible and I felt miserable. Your ads are very deceiving. I feel I should get all my money back. This is such a rip off.

I Have Been Trying To Call For A Refund And Have Not Been Able To Get Through To Receive The Code It Says On The Website That I Need For Weeks! I Am Dissatified With This Product And Was Told It Was Easy To Get The Program Refunded When I Ordered On The Phone. Are You Kidding Me. This Has Been The Most Frustrating Process. I Have Followed This Program To The Letter And Have Not Lost Any Weight At All! The Food I Ordered Was The Frozen Program So As I Understand I Can Not Return The Food Only Get A Refund. Really? What A Scam. Do Not Waste Your Time Or Money. Jenny Craig Has Better Food And An Over All Better Program...thought I Would Give Nutrisystem A Try, Like They Say You Get What You Pay For!

Very unhappy with this product. I started the plan and within four days started getting migraine headaches and digestive problems with eating their food. I gave it to the 10th day with still the same problems so I canceled and requested a refund. It's been three weeks already and still no refund issued. I wouldn't recommend this product or company.

I order the Womens diabetes package. I got it and it was all sugar. I called and it took me a half a day to get the return authorization number sent to my email. I had to go thru person after person and wait and wait. This is a horrible company. I returned this stuff the same day I got in on 2/29/20 and I still don't have my refund. They say it could take up to six weeks. Never again will I buy this stuff. They have horrible people to work with. I told them I didn't want auto delivery and they put me on it anyway. I was to get 1 month plus 1 month free. I didn't get that either. Now I am glad. They charge me 379.00 for my Brothers shipment that was to be 30 days plus 30 days. We got 8 days work. RMA 2018059

I ASKED THEM TO STOP MY AUTOSHIPMENT.
THE OPERATOR SAID WHY DO WE JUST HOLD OFF TILL THE Holiday and we will call you back.
Never got called back they just AUTO SHIPPED me I called the day they tried for the Authorization through AMEX I told them NO NO !!! Their response oh too late it has already been shipped.
If they are that GREAT of a COMPANY why do they have to try to STEAL from us????

This about the 3 items for the vitamins of the brain that I never ordered and you charged me $80 (8/19/19),$91.94(9/3/19)and $1.94 (10/2/19)on my debit card.When I complained that you never send me the items,I received 2 items .I send them back because I need my money (10/9/19).I am not rich ,I am a retired person and I dont have that much.Please Im begging to give me back my money.

I am very upset I was on this for almost 5 months and didn't work so I cancel I received the dry food order yesterday I called them and said that I didn't place an order they said that I never cancel which I did so I asked them to cancel any shipping I thought they did today I got another shipment I called and asked them what is going on and requested a refund they are saying that because I already received the order ( an order that I never asked for they are not giving my money back , besides not loosing the weight they promised I would they have bad customer service they make wait in line for a long time and when they finally get to you they are really rude the program is really expensive I expected more for my money

Buyer Beware!
Tried the food and hated it. Even told them I was a diabetic when I ordered. Called to cancel second order. Was told I did not call in time. Received another order despite my previous call to cancel. How do I get out of this?

JUST PLAIN TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The food tastes gross - sorry, but with a little effort you can whip up some better meals and you'll be better off if you stick to the calorie count each day. I admit I have a portion control issue, but I much rather eat and orange or apple then their packaged snacks each day. which one is healthier? Anyway, anything with chicken was disgusting - trust me, it's not chicken you're eating! try cancelling an order...oh no it's not happening. they make it difficult! tried calling 3 times to no avail, each time waited on the phone +20 mins with no one answering. As soon as my 14 days were up for guaranteed cancellation, someone picked up within 2 mins. perfectly timed...huh? DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Buyer beware!
I was given the hardest time to return unused food. Terrible customer service and then hung up o and had to call back again. I was completely coordial in attitude. Inhumane towards me. I hate to think that is how others getter treated. They have false advertising on no questions asked return policy!

I Am Very Disappoint About This System. I Cancel My Order Because It Was Not Working For Me And They Keep Charging My Account Without My Authorization...... I Will Not Recommend This To Any.... I have not lost a single pound in the first 30days and I have stuck to the diet. I actually eat more food on diet than before getting nutrisystems. 250cal 6 times a day is too much.

Ordered 1Ok Did'nt read the fine print so didn't know it was sent auto. Got the next box and the same day it came, I called to see how to sent it back. Got the return label printed and sent the back the next day. Well be aware that they kept more than half of the price of the food Saying it was for shipping. It was about 139 Dollars worth of shipping and I only got a partial refund.. Don't get caught in this rip off. IF you do not stay with the program I guess you get punished. SO $269.00 for first month and $139.00 for shipping on second pkg. was a lot of money to try to lose a few pounds, And I found that it is just measured calories which I can do myself. And tastes a lot better when you do it yourself.I only got $130. dollars refunded out of $269.Grrr.

When you return am returning my food because I was on vacation and did not need it. When I called the company I was told that I would have to pay for the package to be returned and now when I read the instructions they will also charge an extra $30 plus what I will have to pay for the package to be returned. When I asked about if they could email me a shipping label they said yes but that would cost me $19.99, now really it is an email. I ended up cancelling my whole program and now would not recommend this company to anyone ever!!!!! It is just a huge RIP OFF!!! Not sure how they can have a A by BBB, they have huge hidden fees.

I tried Nutrisystem two different times. The first was a success losing 40lbs. A year later I decided to do it again but wasn't inspired enough to keep up with it. I cancelled my order but they still continued to send me food and charge my bank account. I returned 2 months worth of food (on the same day with 2 different RMA #'s) to Nutrisystem after I was able to cancel my orders. They made the process very difficult just to get those RMA #'s. The first month of food I sent went through without a problem and I received the refund in about 2 weeks. The second month worth of food was a different story. I watched my bank account for another week but never saw the refund. Each time I called they said they never received the box. Unfortunately, I did not keep my tracking # to prove it was picked up and now they tell me that I am out of luck because FedEx does not keep tracking numbers for that long. Moral of the story: KEEP YOUR TRACKING INFORMATION TO BACK UP YOUR RECORDS. Nutrisystem sucks.

I received a box after sending an email saying I did not want this box and stop delivery until end of December. I sent this the 18th, well ahead of the 22nd. I later received an email stating that the email did not go through. Too late to stop delivery. I used the proper email. I still need the vacation.

I have nothing but negative comments for the nutrisystem company. I ordered a months supply of food from them and ... back the box immediately and was treatly poorly. When calling for the refund , they assured me that they never got the shipment. I was never refunded and to this date never was given the time of day. I have read that the reps... to keep putting you off until the time limit for returns expires. Well, guess they needed my 250 for... trust the customers and feel they are not honest to return. I still believe my box of food is in the warehouse or perhaps shipped to another unluck customer. ...
