This comment is for the Ashely Furniture Store in Woodbridge, VA

(Oct 2022) The associate ordered the wrong item even though we showed a pic and pointed out the furniture in the store. It took many phone calls and a visit to the store before they resolved the issue. So I thought.

(Jan 2023) Update: Changing to 1 star
The store manager updated the original invoice and delivered the right item promising to credit back a difference of $783.34 since the item I selected cost less than what they originally delivered. I was even emailed a link to a receipt showing the refund. When that refund didn't come through I opened a dispute with the bank which is when the accounting dept claimed that it was NOT a refund but a store credit.
I went back to the store to talk to the manager who also confirmed that it should have been credited back to the card since it was no fault of mine that the associate rang up the wrong item in the first place.
So please be careful dealing with this store. Don't trust the associate or manager and read every receipt or invoice VERY VERY carefully !! I will never go back to this store.
I am still disputing my refund with in their Accounting Dep

I'm beyond angry that I've spent 10's of thousands of dollars in this store to be lied to, over charged and items purchased in the clearance center were separated and sold as a custom order! If I can give an unsolicited advice do not trust them with your financing they said we didn't have enough on our synchrony but the have another finance company they work with...... it was a rent to own company that debited almost a 140.00 a week from out checking account and we didn't know the wiser! The crooked salesman added a 499.99 warranty on my purchase that we did not ask for and we've gotten nothing but to bad! If anyone knows who I can contact please let me know.

Not only is the customer service department useless
Makes promises they can't keep! The store is completely happy the day of purchase but once you purchase the customer service is out the window! $89.95 for white cloth delivery service which dented and scratch my new wood bed
Ripped the canvas foundation! The headboard was also missing and then had the nerve to tell me after the bed arrived to my home it was a separate purchase! What!!!!! The salesman never said or explained that! So now I have this big wood box with no headboard and they won't make good on what the salesman "SOLD" me on! Nor will they let me return the bed! The store manager Steve was incredibly Rude and disrespectful! I do not recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone!!!! I will be following up with the better business bureau! The blatantly rip off people around their so called terms!

After waiting for 10 months for our bedroom set we cancelled order. Unfortunately paid by check. After 2 months still waiting for money. Ashley national number refers us to store.Store says corporate sends refund. Will never shop there again.

I bought a couch on Feb 24,2022 and it was returned the same day because it did not fit through the door. They never refunded me. I called multiple times and was waiting to speak to someone for almost an hour before I got to speak with anyone. No call back or answer emails. Finally in June decided to dispute the charge and then they charge the money again. I finally got to speak with them about it after being on hold for an hour and they said that I am going to be refunded in 7-10 business day. It's August and I still haven't been refunded.

I order a entertainment system piece from Ashley around November first 2021 I cancelled my item June 21 2022 because I did not receive my items.Im still waiting on my refund the date is July 5 2022 I still not received my money yet

I'll never shop here again.. I purchased a king size bed frame and mattress set and they messed up my order. They delivered the mattresses first (2 weeks before the headboard set) and when it was finally out together, I realized they had ordered me the wrong size box springs. They ordered me a 2 inch box spring vs the 9 inch that should had been ordered. Now I have this huge as gap between the mattress and the head bored making it super low and ridiculous. The mattresses were in the guest room laying against the wall while I waited for the headboard so they dumb 72 hours to return or exchange have passed. I called customer service and they said there was nothing they could do so I said take your big as headboard back then im not keeping that based on an error your salesperson made. Idk if I should just suck it up and go buy the right box spring or return this 1700$ headboard and exchange it for something else.. I started the process, if I can get away with e hanging it for something worth $200 I will lol

I ordered a piece of furniture and paid in full on 5/2/2022. The store was NOT willing to work with me on delivery day and time after 2 days of phone calls, rude & unprofessional store employees and customer service representatives at their horrible customer service line. Therefore, I called on 5/4/2022 and cancelled the order. I was told I would have my refund in 7-10 days. It has now been 17 days since I cancelled. That is 7 days past the time I was told I would get a refund. I have called my bank on 5/20/2022 to dispute the amount but that will also take 10 days. I will be reporting Ashley Furniture Store to the BBB, The Consumer Protection Agency in Austin, Texas and file a claim against them for $10,000 in small claims court for the full amount of the furniture, interest accrued for every day they have not paid my refund and the rest for financial pain and suffering I have endured due to Ashley Furniture refusing to pay my refund on time.
I will also be posting my story in the Wichita daily newspaper, The Times Record News with a circulation of 14,000 which is where this store is located.
If that doesn't get their attention to pay my refund WITH INTEREST, then I am also prepared to recirculate my story in all the surrounding counties where there is an Ashley Store within the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
I will also be sending the newspaper clippings to now president and CEO of Ashley Furniture Store Todd Wanek by overbite mail to his office address in Arcadia, Wisconsin. I will also be naming all the employees that caused this issue, Monica, Arianna, Muhammed and the store manager, MD, as well as Chris the salesman that initially helped me but then was always unavailable to speak to me by phone.

Ashley's return policy is unethical. I ordered 3 counter height bar stools for our new kitchen. The stools were delivered Friday 4/22. Since we were undergoing a kitchen renovation the boxes remained unopened in the garage. Yesterday when the island was installed, we realized that the chairs would be too large for the space. I texted Ashley to return the items but customer service was already closed. I called this morning and requested to return the stools and was told that since they were a home delivery they could not be returned after 72 hours. WHAT SENSE DOES THAT MAKE!!! Firstly I did not request home delivery, regular shipping would have been fine. Secondly what kind of return policy is 72 hours. I am extremely angry about this and will never recommend or shop at Ashley's again. In fact, I will recommend that no one shops Ashley again. When speaking with the sales agent, I was never told about the return policy. If I was, I would never have ordered the chairs but rather I would have purchased them in the store. I will be contacting the BBB to file a formal complaint. This is just horrible!!!! Now I am stuck with $540 of useless chairs!

I'm very disappointed in my experience with Ashley furniture, I was on business trip in Roanoke VA.. and decided to look at furniture that I could purchase in my home state 4hrs away. Salesman promised me that the sale purchase amount he would sale me furniture was far cheaper than what I could purchase at my local Ashley. After going back home I found out, that not only could I get it for same price, but maybe even much cheaper, and not have to worry about the hassle of renting truck and driving 4hrs to pick up. I called salesperson/ manager back he said I cannot cancel or I would have to pay a $1000 restocking fee. But he lied to me and I'm not asking for my money back to purchase from a different store, I just rather purchase same product in my hometown Ashley to avoid paying to rent truck and drive 4hrs there and 4hrs back. He clearly Manipulated the situation in making me believe I could not receive this exact furniture in my home town for the "special price" he was selling it to me for. He lied to me , and I will never purchase from Ashley again.

Real sad refund policy. My son paid 1,300 for a recliner for his new home, also ordered a sectional couch. After delivery myself and his gf was there, the recliner was not needed because the couch was large
. Called immediately, was told that they would give back $1,000, but keep $300! This is within maybe 2 hours of delivery! Will never buy from them again!

Please check every word on the policy before you buy anything from here. We bought a bedroom furniture from ASHLEYS NASHUA NH from here and the stumps that support slats started slipping and made the mattress uneven. It took us a few months to figure out that its the bed issue and not the bad mattress.

A repair guy came over and told me that it will be fixed with replacement parts and its been 5 months since then, nothing has been fixed. When I called back they told me ITS POLICY TO REPORT DEFECTS in 3 days. Who would be able to figure out issue with bed in 3 days. The parts are still not shipped and every time I call they say that they have to talk to management. Horrible service, is there a way to file a lawsuit against them

Terrible customer service. I purchased more than 12,000 dollars worth of furniture. Was given a delivery date and confirmation. On the morning of the delivery I received a text confirming delivery. No one ever came. Called trying to find out what happened. Was told it was canceled by the delivery driver with no explanation. Mind you, it was an entire bedroom suite. So I got rid of my old set up to accommodate it. No one can explain why it wasn't delivered. Got the run around from customer service. Was placed on hold so long I had time to drive back to the store. Where I received more run around. So, tonight I guess I'll be sleeping on the floor. I will never deal with this establishment again.

Bought a sealy mattress with adjustable frame on dec 12th. Delivered on 16th, 88yr old disabled uncle did not like it at all. Slept on one night. Called Ashley for return, they said NO! WE DO NOT RETUN SEALY. Spoke with two salesman, manager would not get on the phone. All other beds are returnable. This is a $2745.05 loss for a eldery person. Nobody said no refunds. Filing elder financial abuse claim. NEVER EVER SHOP ASHLY!!!

I bought a bed from them 9 months ago and it broke and they will not refund my money or replace my bed. I've only slept in the bed because I have been diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer since I've had it. I have been going to treatment everyday.I can't afford another bed treatment means more to me right now than anything

They are scammers, I bought over 7k worth of furniture ( which I have not received) we were going to pay cash then decided to use there interest free promotion. They took my cash and also opened up two accounts ( we don't have furniture) they lied said it was in stock them said just sold last one said would be 2 1/2 weeks then called and said would be another week still no furniture.. promised military discount and guarantee 30 day price match they did not honor went to store manager rude said he would not honor. Or give us our cash back?? Sent email to corporate, talk to finance all said would receive call back nothing.. left messages they are Scammers Buyers Be where!!!

I bought my Ashley sofa sleeper, loveseat, and complete bedroom set from a local furniture store... and well...I have been waiting since April for my bedroom furniture. I got the bedframe. That's all. They keep pushing the date back. 5 months later and $1,100.00 paid upfront and no bedrm furniture. The couch I've had for 4 weeks and it still emits a chemical odor that makes me sick with sneezing, headache, difficulty breathing. Do yourself a FAVOR and DO NOT purchase Ashley furniture. I wish I hadn't.

I should know better......We bought a couch recliner at Ashley furniture in Concord. Low quality stuff and awful consumer service.
Recliner stop working after a month of gentle usage ( we work all day and the only time we have to watch some tv Is a at night)
We have been on endless phone calls trying to get parts, technician and so.
Is been 6 moths and this couch still broken.
The costumer service representative was nothing but arrogant and unwilling to make this right.
We don't want this defective couch but we are stuck on their 72 hr return policy.
Crappy furniture. Crappy costumer service.
Never again.

I ordered loveseat and couch. I called two weeks later, when they said it would be ready to pick up. They pushed the date a week, so I waited another week. This went on for a couple more weeks, I got fed up with it and cancelled the order. Now I'm waiting 4-6 weeks for my money. It takes longer to get your money back than it does to get the furniture. Oh I also went to a local furniture store that had the exact set, and brought it back the same day. It's better to buy from a company that has furniture in stock.

I ordered a dining set from Ashley Furniture back in Dec2020. The order was delivered Feb 20, 2021. Once it was put together, we saw it was damaged, not to mention it didn't fit the space. I called to return it. Apparently, buying an item in store means it CANNOT be returned. Of course that was not mentioned to us when we purchased it. They are willing to assess the damage and replace it, but I don't want the table. I am willing to pay a restocking fee, but I am being told even that it not an option. Who designs a table that doesn't allow for the chairs to be pushed all the way in!?! I am ready to go hang out in their showroom and let everyone who is purchasing an item know that they better be ABSOLUTELY sure they want it, because they are stuck with it! In this day and age it is unfathomable that you can buy something and not return or exchange it. Not to mention, that you are uniformed of this when purchasing the product. Unbelievable....never again.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

We purchased a sectional couch and after it arrived and was delivered and set up inside our home, we discovered it was too large. We called the store back and they charged us a return/restocking fee which we paid in addition to purchasing new furniture. When the delivery people came to pick up the couch, they said that ashley won't take it back because of a minor scratch in the upholstery on the bottom corner of the back of the chaise. They charged us for the delivery fee for the couch which wasn't received and the new furniture which we didn't receive. We called customer service and dealt with the rudest manager (Ashley) and we were just appalled. We will not be doing any business with Ashley in the future.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! There is so much detail to my experience, I'm not even going to type it all. Suffice to say, I purchased a sectional in August and as of today, I have not received my furniture! It's been sitting in the warehouse for over a month waiting on a Dallas route to fill up since the store I purchased from misled me on the mile radius I was in for their delivery area! I have opened cases and no one returns my calls or emails! Customer service hold times are over an hour typically!! I'm told they are the only people that can handle my issue. I find it hard to believe a company gets away with doing business this way! NEVER AGAIN will I buy from her and I will let anyone know that asks, do not buy from this company!

I bought a recliner and sofa from Ashley Furniture. I found that the recliner was not up to what it says it was, so I called to see if I could buy the loveseat and return the recliner. Because I didn't call within the 72 hours and because I bought it online I am stuck with a piece of furniture I can't use. I didn't want my money back I wanted to switch it with another piece of furniture. The person I talked to was yelling at me and said she was the boss and there was no other person above her to talk to. I am in healthcare and I was working. The furniture was delivered on a Sun and I called on Thurs. She was awful and should be fired for yelling at a customer. Ashley Furniture this is not a good way to do business, I spen a lot on those 2 pieces and I went online because of the pandemic and I didn't want to expose my family to any virus. I really wish there was something that could be done. In todays time no one should be treated with disrespect as this person was to me.

We had a entire living room set ordered. Waited four months, and finally the furniture came in, all but the recliner. So we cancelled the recliner and asked for a refund. Recliner was ,$600.00 plus 36.00 tax. The refund we got was $153.96. Are you kidding me? Ashley will be getting a phone call from me on Monday, and they will be giving me my full refund !

I am shocked people are getting their refunds. I had to complain to the BBB to get a refund after canceling the order prior to it even being shipped. In fact I had to cancel the order a total of 9 times because they kept calling to deliver items that I found out would not fit into the home. They could not figure out the Financing so I had paid for it on my AMEX. When they delivered some of the items that I had not canceled, they also attempted to deliver the items I HAD canceled. 3 months later they had yet to take those items off the charge so I had to report them to the BBB. I was still charged a restock fee for items I repeatedly told the to CANCEL prior to them scheduling a delivery date and have some items that are STILL on my AMEX. Now they won't honor the 90-Day Sleep Guarantee policy so I am stuck with a $5K TempurPedic Mattress that I have yet to wake up without pain after a night's sleep. I am sleeping on my couch now and seeing a pain management doctor for the neck and should issues. I was told the Tempurpedic was great for side sleepers - not in this case and I appear to be SOL. Will never do business with this company again.

I canceled a large furniture order, which I had no problem doing. The website says refunds show up 7-10 business days later; however, it's more like 12-13 business. So if you have seen your refund in 10 days, wait the following week it will show up! Took 3 weeks counting weekends to get the money back!

Purchased a sectional on 9/16/2020 put down $2400 cash. Canceled my order 10/8 didn't receive a phone call until 10/19 to confirm information to send out check, that was a Monday, said my check would be out in The mail by that Wednesday and to keep an eye out for it and that it would take 7-10 business days. Never received so called on 11/5 and reopened case for someone to give me a status on my check. No one has called, it is now 11/16 and still no check. Will be looking to take legal action soon if this doesn't get resolved.

Just yesterday November 10 th 2020 i went to Ashley's in Bakersfield, Ca. The worst customer service ever . I bought a whole bedroom set the total came out to $5,230 thats incredible, they gave me a supposedly loan which today a realized thats to much expensive abd they asked for an $800 deposit. I'm going tomorrow let's see what the hell they say most likely they'll try to convince me to get it. My husband and I place an order on October 18th 2020 we put a $1,900 deposit down on a large order due to circumstances out of our control we had to cancel the order on October 25th we did this in the store just as we had ordered the furniture in the store just as we had given them our deposit in the store the store is in Lathrop California we were told they canceled the order and that we would receive a phone call in a few days as to how we would receive our money we felt that that was completely ridiculous since we gave them cash money but we went on our way not to cause any problems it's now November 6th we've received no phone call from them or their corporate office I have called several times each time to be told a different story now I have what they call a case number which I don't understand why I would need a case number to get my own money back so I went back to the store again today and was told that they did cancel the order properly so I told them well your corporate says you didn't cancel the order she insisted they did and she said that she's doing everything she can to get me my refund back I am shocked as to what I have to go through to get my own money back we're talking one week's time from a order to a cancellation and now like I said from October 25th to now the end of the day on November 6th I still have no money back and I'm told hopefully I'll receive a phone call by the end of next week in regards to what they plan to do I am thoroughly shocked please do not purchase anything through Ashley furniture they are crooks

Today I went to Ashley's Furniture Store in Los Angeles California. I went to buy a mattress that was on a deal for $235 . I asked and kept insisting that I wanted the free delivery . They charged me still after repeating myself the $59.99. A charge to set it up and delivery . I don't need the set up . Delivery is free when the carrier is FedEx or UPS. Then they lied when I told them they made the charge & said those were taxes. So supposedly they gave me a paper that said nothing about a refund or money back. And still insisted they made no mistake. The guy said now you have get a free $49.99 free throw. FIRST OF ALL I didn't want to purchase the throw but the salesman kept saying that the order had to be $300+ to qualify? WEIRD. I had my toddler with me and he kept crying so I was like okay. I better not be charged for it. Then after we were done. They giggled. (The salesman and the guy doing the paperwork) about how the WARRANTY is a SCAM because they will still exchange your items and send you a new one. Making me feel terrible because I paid $49.99 in a 5 yr warranty.

Ashley Furniture is truly a chaotic shop and as a customer based on our experience we are never stepping foot in any of their stores. Broken promises and lack of customer service is very common. Bad deliveries and then no one to help to fix that is even more common. We have lost so much time and money dealing with these people. Finally were able to cancel our entire order and get over this nightmare.

I Purchased the furniture from your Woodbridge Virginia store yesterday I was not sure about the measurements and inquired about the refund policy when I was told that the return policy is within 24 hours as long as I returned the furniture within 24 hours I would get all the refund 100 % today I went to return the furniture and I was told they have no return policy and instead of giving me my money back they gave me a store credit which I'm not even sure that I have it because I wasn't giving any paper for it they said just tell your name on the counter when you purchase the furniture and they would have the credit for you.
My problem is that I need my refund back exactly the way that I was told that I would do the 24 hours so if this is not the correct department please get me in touch with the correct department who takes complaints at the corporate office

Absolute worst furniture company ever. The amount of backorder time we have got on a couch and sleeper sofa is ridiculous. this is the worst company i will never do business with them again I am a first time buyer and my couch is defective i have been trying for 3 months to get a hold of someone so i can either get it replaced or fixed. they never call you back and when you chat with them on line they send you to another site where they want to charge you to get your question answered BAD COMPANY don't buy from them

My stepfather 1980s co-sign for a Ashley HomeStore credit card account so I can get new beds for my children and Furniture which we desperately needed you guys are safely sent the cards to my stepdad the cosigner not the one who was requesting the account that needed the co-signers myself and he lied said he never received the cards when he did and went ahead and decided to change his mind and close out the account and have the account closed can he legally do that can You Guys Legally close the account without even speaking to me now my kids have no beds in our sleeping on couches I don't save that was right at all now my credit score has dropped significantly and I have a closed account on there that I never asked for never even had a chance to even make my payments on time which I always have never been late on any of my credit card accounts I think for this easy fix and I should be able to get the credit cards sent to where they should have been sent to begin with my house and I should have been able to use them he was the co-signing I was at the bar I was the one that was going to be making the payments now I don't even have a chance to do that because he decided he didn't want to be a cosigner after already co-signing no you're so signing and you go ahead and close the account for him after it'll Indiana open very few weeks

Please, Please, please don't buy at Ashley's Home Furnishings! I bought a living room set in early July and paid cash. First I was told I would receive my furniture on August 6th. When the delivery didn't arrive , then they said delivery would be in November. I don't have furniture so I asked for my money back. One month later I received my money minus a stocking fee of 150.00$! They are very untrustworthy!!!

I went in 5/31/20 to buy a sectional and a chair with and ottoman the chair got there broken they took it back left the ottoman this was in mid June the sectional and chair would get delivered on 7/17/20 they call a few days before to confirm waited all day until 4pm I called them took over an hour for them to answer they said Furnisher wouldn't get delivered until something in August now back order that's BS I got reed of my old side now I have too wait for them went into there store where I bought them from they were no help that's in OXNARD buyer be wear got a bill they are charging for something I don't have?

Everything written about this company is true people are not exaggerating their frustrations. I have had the same experience as everyone else poor customer service, on line sales for products they do not have, no reply to questions etc...

Worst company ever! Was promised the mattress and warranty I purchased came with a comfort guarantee only to find out that the guy that told me that, was fired and was incorrect. Attempted to contact a rep that said she would work with me; all the while I disputed the charge with Capital One because they suggested I do so. Fast forward to today (almost 3 months later) and I get a letter from them stating I have an unpaid balance (which I did not put on a card that they own) or they will send me to third party collections agency within 10 business days. I am so frustrated and do not know the laws in FL or what to do? I thought as a consumer, I can dispute and they have to reply but cannot send me to a collection agency if I win or are in the process.

Ashley HomeStore: I bought a sofa and told me 6 weeks. Then they called and said another 6 weeks. Then they called and said indefinite. So I have tried for 7 hours and I just now got a " I will call you back in a couple of hours " B.S.. So if they don't call me back I am going over there. They are not going to like that. I'm disabled and should not be made to go jumping through hoops for a simple 45 second transaction. Their smiles and service ends as soon as they get your money. Their service is worse than their furniture and that's pretty bad for the most part.

My wife and I have been looking for counter height bar chairs for a few months now, but we couldn't find something we liked at a price we could afford. Finally, because my wife is smart, she decided to to some Memorial Day shopping. She found a pair that we really liked on the Ashley Online Store and at a price we agreed was worthwhile. We were also surprised when they got delivered in about a week! We immediately started putting them together, and one of the first pieces needed to put one of the chairs together broke (one of the cross bars that helps stabilize the legs). It wasn't a "I put too much pressure on it" break; it was a break clean along the grain, like it was already there. This was annoying, but it happens. We went online to ask for the new part, but they don't answer anything other than phone calls right now, due to COVID.

Here's where things get crappy... The call center only allows you to stay on hold for 15 minutes, at which point it forces you to leave a voicemail. This would be fine, but they promise to call back in "48 to 96 hours" (that 2 to four days for those keeping score). The first message my wife left was over 2 weeks ago, and we have left another 2 messages since then, spaced about 4 days apart. I understand things are nutty right now, but no response for over 2 weeks?? Are they this backed up with faulty parts that it takes this long to respond to people? We have had this chair, in pieces, in our kitchen this whole time, and we have no idea what to do at this point...

Once this gets resolved, I will never buy from Ashley Furniture again. Unless they send us a brand new set of chairs that are fully assembled, I don't think there is anything they can do to make this right at this point.

Pretty irritated, I ordered the a sectional and table from Ashley Furniture in April. Was told it would be delivered June 2nd, which was really exciting because it's my boyfriends birthday! Tell me why they called me today, 2 days before my items are to be delivered to tell me they won't be here until the end of June?
What's even more irritating is they push you to get it paid off in 90 days, which we are doing, we've paid over $1100 out of a $1600 bill. We will end up paying off the furniture before we even get it.

I recently ordered a king bed with mattress and foundation on 12 May 20. I was told my furniture would arrive on 16th, then 19, then 21, then 26th...mind you im missing days off work. I get calls day of delivery saying its not going to be delivered. I finally received update that furniture will be available 9 June 20 and bed rails are available now. WHAT!! Bedrails....the call center Supv.are inconsiderate and employees hang up time and time again. I requested a refund...im waiting to see how long it takes to get my money. I went into Ashley's Home store in Orange on February 26 & purchased a couch - cash ($650.00). They told me it was going to take 3 weeks for delivery. Fast forward to the coronavirus. I understand the store had to close, but why hasn't the manager or anybody contacted me to let me know what's going on? I never heard from them, I didn't receive a refund for my couch, I have no idea if and when they will reopen, and their voicemail greeting when you called the store indicates there's a tentative reopening date of April 6. why you haven't they even bothered to update that? Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. Even if the store manager or the sales person had just called me & said we understand your order is outstanding, but once businesses can reopen, we will take care of your order. But for them to ignore their customers, and be totally be unreachable is unacceptable.

I had purchased some furniture from Ashley's and had found the same furniture with tables for less money and had went back to get my money which I had given Ashley's cash over 1,800.00 and I was told that they couldn't give me my money back and that I had to wait 7 business days for a check that they were sending me to my home. It wasn't even 24hrs. I will never buy or refer anyone to that store and I was truly upset. My experience was bad very bad. Plus the lady who helped me who's name was Ashley was very cold and not helpful at all but the salesman was very helpful and caring. I'm heated went to Carle place and brought a rocker recliner, that was on clearance. It was $499.00 dollars reduced down to 149.00. I sat in it tried all the position it was good,nice and soft. I couldn't believe it. Paid for it and from that point on I was scammed, what I have now is a dirty chair , hard badly stitched , you have to push yourself to go from back to sitting and knees down, which makes a loud noise. Because I left it there they switched the recliner. I devasted, have pinched nerve. The chair I'm looks like it came from a Garbage Dumpster. I'm out of my money . I won't touch it. Worst customer service and furniture ever! Save yourself the time and aggravation. Paid over $2000 for a couch and loveseat and the one we got wasnt even on the sales floor or the one we wanted! Completely different material and color. Smelled of fuel when delivere. Now 20 calls and 3 months later springs are making a noise and its worthless. Company will do nothing about it.

I am looking for a living room of furniture.
Fortunately for me, I have tried to Contact Ashley furniture via phone or email. As many have in this new age, it seems Ashy has chosen to forgo personal contact.
I'm assuming, the reasons why you can't get through on the telephone or find an email address it's because it's over seas! I've tried The corporate office, three local stores, and another phone number for corporate...
Fortunately for me, I found BEFORE I went into a local store and paid money for furniture that I could not get hold of them to get my furniture.

I would never make another purchase here! I went in store and order a bedroom suit, living room suit and dining room suit. The delivery driver damages the furniture and it took a week and several calls to the store to actually speak with a manager to then have to take pictures to prove that I was lying. Then another week for them to exchange the furniture. I ordered a small table and stools from the website that was so damaged that you can't even put it together. The store will not handle any part of it since it's an online order. The customer care center will not pick up the phone and responses to my online request for contact that it's on my cost to return the items (heavy furniture) and it can not be taken to the store due to being ordered online. This place is shady, rude and selling bad furniture. Stay away!!!

I bought a white full size bedroom set. They let me know it would be delivered in two separate deliveries. This was fine since the mattress would come first. Yet, this was not the case! Instead it would be rescheduled and then delivered but only the bed and dresser. Then they set up a next delivery only to find they only had the head board and not the rest of the bed nor the mirror for the dresser. I ended up canceling the rest of the furniture and now I want to return the $500 dresser I no longer need. Just issues all around.

I bought from Ashley in Naperville, Il. I was priced matched for the online items but the way it was discounted was shady. The salesman just wanted the sale so bad that he was adding items on my oder without clarifying what them items or included. I ended up buying a table with mo chairs and after I swiped my card, he said OOPS, I didn't catch that. I was pissed. Now it's going to take 14 days to get a refund!!! I was going to have furniture delivered until it was noticed by my aunt that she was not on the paperwork as cosigner. Infact the only one on the finance. However thw salesman had me put down $500 after she got approved for almost 18k??? And almost three weeks later i havent gotten my $500 back. Because i put money down on furniture i couldnt even call make payment on. In the mean time thwy are just pissinge off more. earning a horrible reputation with horrible management.. whom ask guest are they stupid because their salesman messed up. The issue w Ashley furniture, your local home store, is they misrepresent themselves. The key is every store uses the local Homestore website. This s means to look st the website of any local store you have to go through the brand site, which markets guarantees, that the store refuses to honor. The site is very clear about tying itself to its showrooms, referencing its local home store showrooms and associates but none of those locations or associates abide by any of the promises guarsntees or policies in the website. So what you have is brand promises wo any actual commitment from Ashley the local Homestore showrooms or associates.


Here's some advice, buy online. Don't use the local home stores. Save money and get the online guarantee.

I am so upset with this store. I ordered a love seat back in August, they have called me 6 times setting up delivery and they keep telling me the same thing it is not ready yet. Something with the manufacturer. Please! They should not be calling you and setting up deliveries if it is not ready. They told me they were going to give me two $50 gift cards for my troubles. They can take those cards and put them where the sun doesn't shine. I want to cancel my order and now they want to charge me for cancelling. I don't think so.

I would advise anyone not to purchase anything from them. Their customer service is zero. I understand they are individually owned which make it worse that the managers of their own store can set their own return policy. Carle Place won't even compromise.

Purchased a sectional couch last week from the Carle Place store.
Delivery was yesterday and we realized it was much too big for the room. I called the store this morning to ask that we return it for something smaller. They said no. I explained I'm not asking for a refund just to pick smaller furniture. I was so disappointed in the handling of this.. I purchased a dinette set from Ashley in Memphis. TN, and had the worst experience in my life. When it arrived it was damaged with scratches on the table. The company had a hard time trying to put it together.
When I had it returned before they finished putting it together..

Bought 2 large pieces of wall art in the store and had them delivered. They did not look right in my home. They were still in the plastic and I had the original box they came in. I took them back to the store and was told they don't take returns on deliveries and I should have read the fine print in the sales contract. The store manager also told me if they took returns from everyone they would have a store full of returns. If returns are that big of an issue then maybe their products are of such poor quality they should not be selling them. I have had a credit card with Ashley's for a number of years and I will never shop here again. Very poor customer service.

I did not get my idioms as promised, they said my stuff was in the warehouse, went to pick it up is was not there, went back to the store ask for a refund, they said because i wrote a check my money will be sent back in 10 days, they said the money came out of my account electronically as they processed my check, lie lie lie, they could have just handed my check back because 7 days later the check went through as a paper check and not electronically like they said, it has now been 28 days with no refund check in the mail, the sales person said she checked and the stuff i wanted was in the warehouse, it was not , she said she sent the warehouse a email before we paid because i needed my furniture that weekend so i could get it moved because i work 12 hours a day monday through friday, any way i have a voided sale receipt and not refund, and they cashed my check 7 days later, we now are going to hire a lawyer to file fraud charges on Ashley home store

We got a leaving room set, we were told our furniture was all leather when it was sold to us, about 8 months later our furniture started to discolored and it started cracking, we got a hold of someone from warranty they came and looked at furniture and they told us that the didn't cover our furniture because it was not leather that we had to get a hold of Ashley's and talk to them about getting a refund, it's been 2 years that we been trying to get a hold of someone from management at Ashley's, every time we get a hold of someone they'll say they will call back but they never do, I think we got screwed bad.our next move will be getting a lawyer and take'm to small claims..

What a nightmare. EVERYTHING they delivered was damaged. Literally chairs missing legs etc and they refused to give me my money back!!!! I am out $4000 for furniture i literally had to throw away and synchrony bank won't help either!!! They favored the merchant due to the return policy they make you sign???? What's worse: I even had to make a police report with the camera footage of one of their delivery guys cursing at my husband for complaining saying it's not his fault but then smashing a dining bench on my front lawn for all our neighbors to see!!! I am INCREDIBLY UNHAPPY with the customer service that I have NOT received.

I was on hold for 1.5 hours with the Carle Place NY location and finally decided to leave a message which I NEVER received a call back.

I posted on Facebook my dissatisfaction with Ashley as well as pictures of my awful 7 month old furniture. I received a response apologizing and asking me for my phone number so that they could look up my account and assist me. I NEVER heard back from that either! I re-posted and still have not received any information.

I read your core values and mission statement and they do not align with my experience with your company.

I have placed a dispute on my credit card for the charge and I am asking and expecting a response from this email because if not, my next step is to contact BBB as well as Shame on You... this is NOT how you treat a customer.

Ashley Furniture - Lubbock. I purchased a bed frame to go with the dresser and night stand I purchased a year ago for $649.99 with a $20.00 delivery fee on a Saturday. Called on Monday because I received a discount in the mail for $100.00 to ask for a reduction. They refused and would not cancel my order. I looked online and found it on their website for $349.99 with no delivery fee. I called again and cancelled. They refused and said I had to pay $125.00 cancellation fee and get an in-store credit. Gave a $50 down payment for a bed and bed frame my total was just over $500. Two days later made a $250 payment. Next day unforeseen circumstance required me to go back and cancel my layaway. Sales guy said no problem but they would keep my deposit it bothered me but he did tell me twice my card would be refunded for the $250. Three days later sales guy calls me says the deposit for sure they keep but my payment would absolutely not be returned to my card and he apologized for he didn't know that they don't refund instead I will receive a store credit no exceptions and I told him that wasn't hat he said and replied unfortunately I wasn't aware of that is written on the back side of the contract. So I delante with Ashley's not wanting to give me a credit for a dining table I purchased and had two technicians see it and explain that the material that the table was made out of was not a good material. Finally I get the credit, choose a different dining set and it arrives damaged. I tell the delivery guy and he tells me to call the store, I call the store and now I have to wait to have another inspector come and see the new table. I bought several furniture on President day big sale advertising. I was told that I will get the Items in 2 weeks. I had to wait a month and a week to revive the items. The he'd frame that they sent me has missing parts and the rails are different colour or unfinished product. The sale price that they advertised was false and deceiving. They charged me 400 dollars for a table that they are selling 270$ and 150$ for a nightstand selling it now 100$. The sells person that was nice on the purchase day was unprofessional and unhelpful when I went to the store to explain what has happened. I will never ever go to Ashley furniture in my life time again. Very deceiving and unprofessional place.

I was lied to and tricked into buying a mattress I didnt want. The salesman pressured me into buying a new queen mattress when I wanted a king but wasnt sure if it would fit and the salesman wanted the sale that night. He told me that I could exchange it for a king if I found it would work. When I went back to get a king they said I could only exchange for another queen. They blatantly LIED and refused to make it right. Buyer beware!!

I bought a sectional sofa from Ashley's in Orland park, Illinois. I also bought the extended warranty. I requested for someone to come to my home and inspect the sofa due to the poor quality of the fabric. The fabric has lint balls and the material is pulling apart. The technician who inspected it said in his report that l could use a lint scrap per to remove the lint balls!!! Have u ever heard of material doing this?? Ashley's is suppose to use quality material apparently not. I am so disappointed with them that l urge everyone shopping for furniture not to go to Ashley's u will be disappointed with their customer service. They don't honor your business. Once they have your money they don't care if u have problems with their products.

Ashley in Natomas is horrible. I bought a mattress there 10 months ago. I was told I could return within 12 months. I called today, as my back can no longer take the cheaply made (but expensive) mattress. I was told the sales rep was incorrect (he conveniently does not work there) and they could not back what he promised. I told them I had the paperwork showing the agreement, which they responded, sorry, all sales final.

I cancelled my order and requested a refund around late December. It is now March 15 and I still can not get my refund. Staff always tells me i will get it very soon but 3 months later and they still can't give me my money back. Check Amazon for several Ashley Furniture items before buying at the store as they are cheaper and if you have prime there are no delivery fees on some items. Ashley will not price match with amazon! You cannot return the items to Ashley for a refund once you have received them either. I will think twice before ever buying from Ashley again!

All Ashley stores are individually owned. The Lakeland store has an "all sales final" policy!!No returns or refunds...period. This is never mentioned by a sales person and there are no signs posted.I highly recommend that you never buy from this store..EVER.

I received a damaged mattress that was not quiality or even worth sleeping on and was told I have to wait 30 days and could swap but that they don�t do returns. It�s truly a scam. Bought a bed that took two weeks to arrive. When it arrived parts were missing so the delivery team was unable to assemble it. They sent guys back out a couple days later and they still did not come back with the correct hardware. Ashley Furniture is a JOKE. Avoid dealing with them.

spent 8k on a temperdic bed. Picked out the wrong one. Came back a few days after delivery and asked to change it out. Manager said I hv to keep for atleast 30 days then I can pay re stocking fee and delivery fee for the new mattress. I've gone in 3 times now and no one will help me. Manager said he would call me and never did, went back in and now that manager got moved to another store. The new manager said he would take care of it through corporate and still hasn't contacted me.

Spending so much money into a bed is very important for the next 10 years of my life.. why lie to me and tell me Ashely stands by temperdic rules to sell there beds and not follow through. Hopefully I get a call back to resolve this.

Do not buy from Ashley! I received my recliner on a Tuesday. The foot stopped going back down By Wednesday. They will replace with the same recliner. I asked for a different recliner because obviously this one is junk! They refused and said they do not have a buyers remorse policy. I asked to just return it. They refused that also. Their policy should be more clearly stated when you walk in the door!

I wont be buying from Ashley's again, 90 dollar delivery fee, I had nothing visually to look at when I went to the store,only online, When I received my furniture a month later, my coffee table is way to dark, and cheap looking, My boyfriend and I spent a pretty penny there, and they will not accept the table back, unless I bring it back on my own, There should be a 14 day policy if something isn't right you can return it.I was deceived right from the beginning, Now I'm stuck with furniture I hate after spending almost 2000 dollars.

Never never buy Ashley furniture. They are fraud. Last year I m buy bedroom set they took 2 months to delivered one one thing. And also lot of things missing. And also they give the protection plan which one totally fake. This time I am trust one sale agent and buy again couches same service almost one month finsh I am recive just love seat. Now i am told the sale agent please tell me how we return this love seat but she told me when u recive u can't return. Now plz help me some one know how I m return.

Don't support the retail stores. They don't allow returns "once you buy it it is yours" very rude customer service and under staffed. If you see something there that you like, buy it on Amazon Prime, where you can actually return it.

I purchased a couch for $1864 on 11/5/18 and paid with my debit card. Big mistake. My wife called on 11/6/18 and cancelled the order and was given a confirmation number and advised it would take 7-10 days for a refund. I called after a week and was told I should have my refund "any day now" and it was 7-10 business days. On 11/21/18 (10 business days), my wife called and was told we should be getting the refund "any day now for the full amount" and then quoted $1700 and change. My wife told her the full amount was $1864 and was advised that that amount did not include sales tax and the billing department would have to add the sales tax.

At this point, it's obvious Ashley is just holding money and collecting interest as long as they can get away with it. Even though most businesses quote 7-10 days by the time you get a credit on your card, in my experience it's usually 3-5. I'm at 15 and counting. I have learned my lesson and will never purchase anything from an AShley Furniture store.

I have an incomplete furniture set and will not have all my pieces until after the hoilday. They will not accept the one piece delivered back because now I dont want it. 15% off is nothing. Terrible, Terrible customer service and hidden policies. On top of furniture not being delivered as stated when I paid, to delivery guys not showing up on the scheduled delivery day (without a phone call to let us know. I had to call after the delivery window was up to find out they weren't coming), I wasn't allowed to return canvases 2 days after purchasing them. They are considered an accessory and a final sale item. Would have been nice to see this or told this prior to completing the purchase. Horrible experience with this store. Not worth your time or money!

CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! ALL SALES ARE FINAL! Husband and I bought a $1,000 couch and before we even picked it up decided we had changed our minds about the couch. We walked into the store and walked to the back desk. We explained to the saleswoman that the location of my husbands career just changed without notice and we were no longer moving to the area. Another saleswoman walks over and rudely asks "What's going on?" So we again explain, with the manager of the store standing behind her observing, our situation. She then pulls out our contract and tells us "You only have 24 hours to cancel." Yes, I understand canceling an order, but canceling is not the same as a return. I replied "There is to be another way to deal with our situation." Store credit was never offered. And when we bought our couch we were never informed that all sales were final. The manager says to us "Too bad, you own it now. You'll have to sell it." CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONEXISTENT!! We were never informed that all sales are final..

Hi, I bought a queen bed with the frame and the box and everything, the day I received it I notice that the mattress is not firm as in the store, I went the same day to make a complete because I have a back problem and I can not sleep in a soft bed (I'm still sleeping in my sofabed), the store said that they have to send a technician to check the mattress, after that they are sending technicians to check the mattress and they don't want to change it, I spend 1000 in that mattress and still can sleep in it

Just had a huge chair delivered yesterday. It was cute in the store but just doesn't look right in my home. Okay, I'll just call them and return it. Nope! The woman who answered the phone told me all sales are final, that it's in my paperwork. I am beyond livid right now. They have no signs in the store saying this and, of course, the sales person doesn't tell you. Now I have to go look through my paperwork to try to find this. I;m going to the store anyway to talk to a manager but i have a feeling that'll get nowhere. By the way, this is at the Memphis, TN store on Germantown Parkway. Spent $500 on a chair I don't want, used my Ashley credit card so I paid for it in full. I've purchased several thousand dollars from them in the past and had no idea this was their policy.

We purchased a sofa and love seat from Ashley Furniture. They didn't have sample in store, and I went off my computer image or their website. We went to Charlotte to pick it up. THe paper said they would bring it to us in 30 minutes. After 30 minutes and no one came out, my husband went to get someone, and they were very unhelpful, but brought it out shortly. There was another couple that was there at least 10 minutes before us, and after my husband went in, they still hadn't received theirs, and went to the front desk and a fellow came out with them to the distribution area. It didn't appear they were busy when we first arrived and went into the bathroom, people were just standing around. Those people really had an attitude. Then when we got the sofa and loveseat home, and unwrapped it, it was much darker than the picture on the website, we contacted them immediately and they said to bad, but lots of people are unhappy with what they see on the website and what they actually receive. That evening when looking the items over, and comparing them to the picture, we saw that the style was not like the picture, and the craftsmanship was worse then the color difference. Uneven seaming, some cushions higher than others, and stuffing, just put here and there, stitching didn't match up, wrinkles and the arm rests looked like two balloons on the top of the arm! We had one day to complain, so the next afternoon we went to the store and the person we worked with verified the sofa was defective. We were told to tell them we didn't want the set and to return them, we could not find another set the color we wanted in the store, which we tried to do. The workmanship compared to every other sofa I saw was terrible, to say the least. Now, again they have an attitude. They have gotten their money and they want to do nothing to help the consumer. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not buy from Ashley Furniture. They do not care about their customer, and are not helpful or courteous. Besides their products were terrible. They want to charge us a restocking fee of 10% to fix the sofa. My question is why didn't they fix it to begin with? Please, Please beware of this company! There are to many good furniture stores out there we are finding out. We live in the Columbia, SC area. Do not go to Ashley Furniture!

I paid cash with cc for two reclining chairs. When they arrived they were larger than I thought and didn't fit into my room. I wanted to look them over before I accepted them. The delivery person said "no worry" you have 10 days and shoved papers for me to sign, which I foolishly signed. I tried calling cust service within the hour (several times again), no answer. I called the store & told her the chairs didn't sit right the same as in the store and they were too big. She said we don't accept returns. I asked to talk to the sales person, she said she is with a customer, I will have her call you back, no call back! I called again & was told she had to leave for a family emergency, I will have a technician call you by Sunday to rectify the problem. I tried calling the 2nd day twice and no answer, it's Sunday, they are open, I tried calling, still no answer, no one coming.
I will never buy at Ashley again. They need to post a sign NO RETURNS EVER ! I was lied to,
No worry, you have 10 days . . . NOT SO !

We recieved our new Brassville power reclining sofa and love seat yesterday, after having it for 1 day we realized we just do not like it. The feet do not come up all the way and the arm rests are just to low. Called the store we purchased it from in Colonial Heights VA and they said they do not accept returns, they will exchange for a 30% restocking fee and you will recieve store credit. After spending so much money on something if you are not satisfied you should be able to return it.

Ashely's furnitures probably is one of the worse place to buy your furnitures the sales persons never say anything on returns they just say you can bring it back if your not happy and the moment you call and say you're not satisfied they said that the song accept returns and that you weee told about their policy which clearly is not true. I ordered a power reclining loveseat on May 17, 2018, and the salesperson said the earliest delivery date was June 26, 2018. On May 20, 2018, I found something I liked much better with another store. It was less than 72 hours after my Ashley purchase so I went IMMEDIATELY to the Ashley Store to cancel the order and request a refund. I got a "refund request" form instead of the refund! I told the cashier I understood that I had signed a form agreeing to a "10% restocking fee" even though the furniture was obviously still in Arcadia, Wisconsin or had not even been manufactured yet. So while I was willing to sacrifice that 10% restocking fee, I did want the order cancelled and the rest of my money back. She told me the manager (who was unavailable) would review my request and call me within the next two days. THREE DAYS later, I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. After being on hold for awhile, the cashier came back to the phone and said, "the manager is reviewing the request, and after a review and sign off, you will get a refund." I asked for the manager's name and was given "Aaron" or "Erin". I asked for a last name and heard "I cannot give that information out." REMEMBER, not only do I not HAVE this product, it won't be ready for another month!! I am investigating my options.

We bought from ASHLEY in Lakeland Florida. We opted to do the 90 days because we were not told that if it was prolonged we would not be getting the furniture at the sale price but rather the full amount $6000. Clearly a big difference. Not only was I not told that doing their financing it would go back to the original price but EVERYTIME you make a payment the payment is taxed as well. SO you are Taxed at the time of Sell and on each payment! So We have spent $300 just in taxes on our payments. I only financed as a means to help my credit and this has been a disaster. Luckily the furniture hasn't fallen apart as some of these other stories. But how frustrating is it when you are buying something and not being told the whole truth. I had also called the store asking for receipt of payments and the break down of the sale bc the only sheet I had she wrote the balance on. I had to go into the store to get the copies and I advised that the balance didn't make since especially since our Bill was just under $3000 and I'd made over $2300 in payments. Even the Representative I spoke w/said that didn't make any sense bc rather then me owe the 680+ I still owe over $1000. I would never have spent that much for couch without the benefit of helping my credit. Lesson Learned-I will just pay cash when I want something. Also they do not do any sort of returns. They are also affiliated with Badcock and many others, however if you find something on sale at Badcock and buy through financing it doesn't go back to the regular price but stays at the sale price

I bought furniture from Ashley's furniture on November 7, 2017. I called six days later and canceled it. They said that because it hadn't been shipped to the store that I would receive a full refund. It is now March 5 and after having called them several times I still keep getting the runaround as to where my money is. They all me $9000 and some change. I will never ever ever patronize that store again. My stores in Champaign Illinois and it is the home store for Ashley. I purchased sectional in Dover Delaware that they could not be deliver and now the store wants to charge a 40% restocking fee. I was not advised of this at the time of purchase this store uses deceptive and misleading business practices. This was not a custom purchase where I chose fabric or material custom to me..this is instock item that they have and can be found online...per the salesperson $99 fee was charged to me for delivery and setup. The furniture fit through my front door but the delivery people said they could not get it in the basement and said it would be returned and the store would provide refund. I live in a new construction home full of furniture with a fully finished basement and they couldnt get this in the basement...so I was advised I would be refunded. However I was later told I would not get a full refund and of this fee that would be charged for furniture I never will own and the manager in the Dover store hung up on me. I was also advised by Ashley corporate that each store is individually ownde has its own policies. This is ridiculous since this couch is an instock item at Ashley furniture it appears that each individual store is passing its costs of doing business with their corporate onto the consumer by charging fees for items that are not custom ordered and never delivered to the customer and tbey will resell to someone else. The fees they are stating will be charged are egregious and sales practices are deceptive and misleading.

I called the Ashley store in Murrieta & they won't exchange it for an table set that would please an customer !!!!

Purchased a piece of art from Ashley Oxnard I received the art after two days and it is too big for where I wanted to place it I called to find out about a refund and they said basically that I am stuck with it. After looking online it says standard shipping items are refundable within 30 days which is a complete lie. This salesman was great the staff was good but unbelievable that I am now stuck with a very large piece of wall art that I cannot use . Be very aware of what you can and can't return from Ashley furniture I have never heard of buying anything that I can't return within 30 days I am so disappointed I will never shop at Ashly again and I am not placing an order that we set up for over $9000

I wish I could convey whole heartily to folks to stay away from Ashley Furniture. I ignored all the warnings and complaints and purchased a 2500 dollar sectional from the Ashley store here in Fairfield NJ. This store is owned and operated by Eugene Chrinian. A professed Christian, and someone who regularly speaks about how important it is to help others. Apparently just not his customers.
My nightmare began in March of 2017. Upon delivery of my furniture, one of the delivery guys in his haste to remove the packaging from my furniture, nicked my console piece with his blade and put a one inch gash in the console. When I reported the incident, AF acted as if I had caused the damage and they were doing me a favor by replacing it. After a week of use we noticed that both power recliner and manual recliner were not able to recline at the same time as they would collide. I called to report this to AF and they agreed to send out a technician. When the technician arrived he inspected the pieces and concluded that the manual recliners Mech needed to be replaced. This was causing the chairs to collide when reclined. I asked how this would be done and the tech described having to remove the fabric in order to affect replacement. I did not want the fabric removed from my brand new couch that was 1 week old. AF refused to deliver a new piece even though the one they sent was defective. So the repair now gave me a refurbished piece as opposed to new. The technician was sloppy and inconsiderate. While making the repairs he inadvertantly pulled the fabric from its wooden base on the sectional piece next to the piece he was working on. We didn't find this until after he had left while I was inspecting his work. The fabric that he removed that now needed to be re-stapled, was not pulled tight enough and there were large folds of fabric that looked awful. The technician was also negligent in that he left the large staples he pulled from my couch on my TV console where my 3 year old found them. I had to make another call to Ashley to have the fabric corrected and have the damage the previous tech made to the adjoining section repaired. Needless to say, the newly installed Mech did not correct the colliding recliners. After a lengthy conversation with the Ashley store, I was told that you can't put a power recliner next to a manual recliner as they would collide. They insisted I was told this at the store. Complete dishonesty. I needed to purchase another console piece ($200) to correct the problem. Something I would have purchased had I been told this from the start. I was already spending 2500 dollars, another 200 would not have made a difference.

After 3 months I began to notice that the power recliners were sagging. Meaning you would sit in the recliner and the support was no longer there. I called Ashley and they sent out a tech. The tech reported that the foam cores were shot and they needed to be replaced. So after 3 months, I already have 2 recliners that need their foam cores replaced. Ashley orders the cores and I have the Tech come back out to install. In order to affect the repairs, the technician needed to completely disassemble my recliners and strip them down to the wood. No customer wants to walk in and see their brand new couch stripped down to the wood. I no longer have new couches. They have been refurbished within 3 months. After the repairs were made, I noticed that there were large gaps between the reclining mech and the couch. The Recliners were not put back together properly. Also the backs were assembled to far back and they do not align with the rest of the pieces. And to top it all off, the tech put a 3 foot scratch into my hard wood floors.
I have absolutely no faith in the Ashley Technicians nor in the quality of the merchandise.

This is my nightmare of 5 months with Ashley furniture and they refuse to give me a refund. So I am seeking a legal remedy to get my refund.

I bought a sofa and love seat from Ashley furniture at the end of June. I had to wait several weeks for it to be delivered which was fine with me. After a couple of days, I realized that both arms of the sofa were making loud popping sounds. I made a video and took it to the store about 3 days after it was delivered. I showed it to the "sales manager" and told him that I didn't want the sofa or the love seat. He didn't say much and we went to the back of the store where he left me with a customer service lady. She told me that someone would be calling me to set up an appointment. I was thinking that they were sending someone to my place to verify what I had showed them on the video. However, when someone came, it was to repair the faulty sofa. I said that I had told them from the beginning that I didn't want the sofa. He left and said that he couldn't fix it anyway because it would take longer than an hour. I went back to the store a few days later, and now I'm getting the run around. Apparently, the corporate office said that they would replace the sofa. This is not what I want. I want my money back, but after reading all the complaints with Ashley furniture, I'm sure I won't be getting it. My advice to anyone thinking about buying Ashley furniture is to think again and go somewhere else. This is a terrible place to do business and it is cheap furniture.

yes I bought a mirror on line but when received it's much bigger than I thought and and do not like it , can I bring it to store in person and exchange for something else . Because they tell me that I have to pay to get it shipped back which is $100 that I don't have , and the light was 153 , I know that it's not your policy but to have to pay hundred dollars to ship it back is crazy , i'd rather if I could bring it to the store and exchange it for something else , I just bought a three-piece sectional from use a couple months ago for $1100 so if you could help me out someway I'd appreciate it thank you

I purchased a coverlet and a comforter many months ago from the home store. I am so pleased with it, but forgot the name of the color comforter I needed. I ordered the wrong item because it looked just like original purchase. When it arrived, I immediately realized it was incorrect. I called Ashley Furniture online and told them that I was pleased with my products purchased a while back and wanted an extra set. I went on to say that I had just gone back on the website to order the correct item. The correct item was about $12 more than the mistaken order. I asked for a shipping return label and they just WONT do it. They said it was due to the fact that they offered free shipping and Ashley is absorbing the losses by charging only tax and not shipping to customers. I explained again that anyone can make a mistake and see that the colors are, in essence, the same. The price difference was the tax. I WAS shopping there for more, but once there was a refusal to send a return label, I stopped shopping and went to another website. I know I made the error, but as a company, hear people out before saying no can do!

Hagerstown MD Ashley Home Store is the same as all those you described. All smiles and lies while selling to you. Once you walk out the door they could careless. Worst customer service ever. They kept $125. from our refund that we had to fight for weeks for. Rude and sarcastic. This is no way to treat anyone. We have contacted Corporate who can do nothing and the BBB. We are hoping for a resolution. $125 is a lot of money to us. I had a heart transplant and could use that money to pay some medical bill not just losing it to Ashley.

I will second the comments given by Shiva. Had I read these comments earlier, we would not have gone to buy furniture from Ashley home store. They did not fully deliver our furniture, and just conveniently told us that they will deliver the missing part after four days. As I tried to talk to the manager at Milpitas location, his attitude was not appreciated and I have to wait for about an hour to talk to him. There was no apology from his side as if we can just wait and they can do whatever they want. Even after four days, there was no confirmation that the item will be delivered, I sat at home waited for the furniture to arrive, and eventually, I called around 3:30 to check what happened to the delivery. I got the response that, they did not confirm the delivery, so it will take another 4-5 day for the delivery. When I dialed a few more numbers and wasted about 3-4 hours of my life, I got a response back saying they will deliver in two days. Our item was then delivered 6 days later than the originally scheduled delivery and after going through all those phone calls. What a horrible experience. I will highly recommend buying your furniture from some local store rather than from Ashley, until and unless you are willing to take days off from work to wait for the furniture to arrive, or you have some hours to make those phone calls to receive the item you paid money for.

They have the worst customer service and a bad attitude towards customers.
Their return policy is so unfair.
If you value your money and care about your right do not go there. I wish I would read these reviews earlier. Do not get deceived by their promotions.

Please Do not waste your money on their furniture. They delivered wrong item after 20 days I was waiting, I tried to call and talk to the manager and they did not transfer me to talk to manager after 2 hours I was constantly on the hold!!!!! They have the worst customer service and they do not respect their customers. I want to return the end table that they delivered earlier today and they say it is not possible.Their return policy is so unfair. If you value your money and care about your right do not go there. I wish I would read these reviews earlier. Do not get deceived by their promotions.

We bought a king split mattress before July 4 th , at first all sales associate and managers were catering to our needs . Until day of delivery . Baseboard to one of the split king mattress was the wrong size .. beacause our demanding schedule we waited until the following Sunday to come into the furniture store and explained what our concerns were ,, from the wrong delivery item to the unpleasant experience from sleeping in those mattresses .. we then express our concerns to the manager and sales associate who made the deal .. managers comment was that the orders were placed correctly and that we should buy a new bed frame to accomadate the new mattresses .. well we did just that ,, Thursday was our delivery day and again they deliver the wrong items .. I send everything back ,, call the manager ,, Coorprate office and now they promised to correct the issue and delivery it once again today .. we waited all day ,, change schedules around and my house is upside down with furniture moved aside , and empty rooms , my husband and I sleeping from room to room ,,, all inconvenience to my family , schedules ,,home ,, etc

I just bought an expensive recliner and how it feels in the store is different than what I have. I have a sister that has medical issues and I got it so it would lift her out of chair. She can't sit in it because it is too hard. I contacted the store the same day I had received the chair. Receptionist said it couldn't be returned. I asked to speak with mgr. She had salesperson call me back and say they don't take returns based on that. I even said I would buy a new chair. They said it didn't matter.

I purchased a brand new bad from Ashely, it was the temperpidic breeze and the ergo plus platform, we do not like the platform and it's been 2 days. We tried to return it and apparently you can not return the platform after it's delivered because they don't have a return policy on it! So do not buy from this store, they make it where they say you can return it within 30 days and then turns out you cant

I purchased a full bedroom suit from Ashley furniture in Richmond Ky. When the furniture was delivered the drivers told the delivery hotline number that the bed was delivered and nothing was wrong, the bed was scratched and dents and cracks in the wood, the lady on the phone stated that the drivers told her that there wasn't any problems and I was pissed. They said they would fix the problems. 72 hrs later the ashley furniture store said they was bringing me two post back to replace and I said no that the whole bed was needing replaced and my mattress as well because it had black grease all over it. A couple of weeks later two men bring me a new bed supposedly and they took my old bed out of my house. When they was getting the new bed off the truck I paused a moment and was thinking why wasn't any of this bed in boxes and the drivers stated that the bed was prepped at the warehouse. I looked at the bed and to find screw holes and crack in the bed and I told them I was not accepting the bed because this was used. They call the warehouse manager and he starts cussing me and arguing with me saying he wasn't dealing with me anymore and that I wasn't getting the bed and told his drivers to pack everything up and to go to the next job. They took my old bed and kept the supposedly new bed and told me I wasn't getting anything. No I am stuck without a bedroom suit and no money.

Ashley Sucks, Bought over 7K in dinning and living furn.

When it was delivered was told three bar stools were damaged, three of 8 dinning room chairs damaged, and couch had hole in back

They are telling us now that its going to be 6 weeks before we get new.

My name is stacey. I find this appalling. I bought and paid cash over 5ooo.oo of furniture fron this store. When delivered one buffett was not on the thruck. The daybed was broken and the service came to fix it and the deliveries guy Had halfway put it together stripping the bolts. The new. One is on the way. The buffet i do not have or the refund.600 dollars is a lot of money to me. When i didnt receive my buffett i called the sales man and he said he failed to put it on the truck. I have been getting a run around week after week. My salesman said finally that they dont deliver clearence items. They said the rule was being changed around the time i bought if that is true no one bother to inform me. I sokd furniture i know what the mark up on furniture. You have lost my business and many more with issues like this. So tis company would risk a couple hundred dollars for thousands of dollars with guest. Myself and many more will not do any business with Ashley Funiturre. I have ms and wouldn't habe bought the buffett ifi was told that i wouldn't have bought it. I bought a bed from Ashley's the bed i saw on the show room floor look like a king side bed but the sales lady said it was a queen side bed. It seems funny to me that the bed was bigger then the queen she said it was. Ok.. So i told her i would get the bed if it's a qeen and when it arrived on the box it said queen when i opened it the bed is a full. I am never going there i paid the price of a queen and recived a full. What a failure of a company i am not happy about the poor choice of a company who trick customers.

Do not purchase a mattress through Ashley. We purchase a Bedroom set with mattress and box spring. Have had it one month and it already has a gully forming on my side of thr mattress. Very uncomfortably and my shoulders and back are very sore. The gully is so soft that when you go to turn you sink into the mattress. Called to complain and was told has to be a 1 inch gully before they will do anything. Take pictures and email in. They will review and send someone out. For having mattress only a month and a half there should be no gully. As it is not a inch yet....maybe next month. I will not purchase anything again there. Bedroom set, dinning room set and sofa table. 5000.00 which mattress was 1000.00. Down the drain........hate it. Don't ever buy mattress there.AIMZ

I bought a Shayla sofa sleeper from Ashley in January there is a wide gap between the bed and the back that is suppose to be the headboard it is not comfortable to sleep on I ask if they can send out a technician to check the problem or exchange it for me to

Ashley funiture store wants to sale to you. They are not about customer satisfaction. They rather sell pc s than customer satisfaction.they want you to take broken furniture but dont you to want to return anything. Huge mark up on furniture instaed of making a guest happy on a250 couch they would rather loose that customer and then some over a 250 couch. I will not return nor my family or friends and who else i can tell of the sloppy customer care they offered.

Put a dining room set on layaway and were told that the items were stored until item was paid completely. After paying for over half of it over a three month period we received a phone call that the item was no longer available. We were told that our items would be stored but Ashley apparently sold them off and discontinued the line. We are to be refunded our money but will never do business there again

I purchased an 8x10 area rug. I measured the area first. After getting the rug and laying it out it was too big for the space. I went to the store to order the 5x7 one and told them that I wanted to return it and that was when I was informed that they have a no return and no refund policy. This was never disclosed while I was purchasing the rug and furniture. I politely stated that I will not be shopping there again. It was a $850.00 lesson.

I bought a 3000 sectional couch from Ashley and only have had for a year and the quality of the fabric is awful and I will be going to see what I can do. 3000 is allot of money for crappy furniture. I had my other couches for 15 years and they were still in good shape and I would rather have my old setback than this new stuff. I was lied to as well.

I bought a memory foam mattress from Ashley about a month ago and it is literally the WORST! The one in the store was way more comfortable and I think they gave me a totally different one. The one I have is like sleeping on a giant sponge, no conformity to the body and it has no give to it. They said to take pics of it and they will go from there.

We bought a love seat couch and a recliner chair from Haney's furniture in. New castle PA and we had to have it fixed 8 months later the padding was gone and the ball bearings were shot so the company comes and gets it and that is to get it fixed and today calls and tells us it is not fixable and we need to take it back and if we refuse then it is going in the Dumpster? I purchased the most expensive couch in the store they guaranteed they had it in stock and they lied. They kept setting delivery dates and I confirmed and took a day off of work and it never arrived and they never called to say why this happened 3 times I decided to get a refund and it's been over a month and I'm still waiting for my check because they don't refund cash they send a check. Sooo frustrated, my husband and I bought a sleigh bed in May, and it's under warranty for a year, it broke in September. We have been trying to get it fixed for 4 MONTHS! When I try to talk to them they say they will handle it and keep asking me to email them pictures of the place where it's broken. I've sent them all these pictures,why do you need more?? I purchased a bedroom set from Ashley for my little girl because the sales person told me it was solid wood. After they delivered the room set to my house that's when I found out it was not real wood. I contacted the sales person and he told me that he would fix the problem. The manager contacted me and told me that the sales person never told me such thing. The manager told me that they had real wood that I should go back to the store and pick a more expensive bedroom set. This people at the store are a bunch of liars. Please don't go to Ashley they will rip you off.

Bought a living set and stupidly accepted the defective pieces when delivered. Rocking chair had a missing pad on the leg which scratched my floor, scratched on a corner and it seemed they painted it so it was less noticeable, sofa had a protruding side in the back and missing stitches in the back. They send a repairman who seemed to offer to replace them. Ashley called two days later to let me know they would send replacement parts and that the only way they would accept something back would be if they couldn't repair it. I learned the hard way to NEVER EVER buy from a company that does not have a "30 day money back" policy.

Totally pissed off!! After calling for a dozen of time times and hoping that may be this time they would call back in response to my request, I am still waiting. I ordered a bed from Ashley, reviews read exceptionally good, but when the bed arrived it was 1. Missing storage knobs 2. The bed is way too large then a king and is measured to be Calking, I ordered a king. Why cal king size when I had ordered a king.

I ordered a sleeper couch from Ashley online. It arrived 3 weeks later but could not fit in my elevator and was returned to the local store/warehouse. Ashley charged my card for the goods a few days later. I have called customercare several times to get my refund over the past month. Despite the fact that I have been told by their team that this charge was an error on their part and that I will receive the refund within 7-10 working days, they still have not issued a refund and offered no explanation as to why.

I have not gotten any human contact response other than here is number and they can send someone to check out... I recently discovered a crack in the wood sliders on my butterfly ext table call the GBS extended warranty and was told it could not be repaired as it was not part of my contract.Called Ashley furniture and after calling countless numbers I was told it was out of the 1 year warranty.Still trying to connect with the manager in hope that he will get somebody to repair it.If not I will ask for a warranty refund

I agree with all comments as to the atrocious customer service. After standing in front of the bedroom set I wanted and telling the salesman "This is what I want", Richard of the Glen Burnie, MD store ordered the wrong bed. I have never ordered furniture before and was unfamiliar with the terminology. The delivery went well until I realized they delivered the wrong bed. Dresser, mirror, nightstand are wonderful, but totally the wrong bed. I spent long periods of time on the phone ON HOLD with customer service only to be told I got what the salesman ordered. They are charging me a pick up fee to get the bed I never ordered. And get this, the one I WANTED, I found out was discontinued. I could have the floor model if I provided my own pick up and delivery for the ONE I WANTED. So tonight, I am going to the store and cancelling the order for the floor model. And I will only speak to a supervisor to rework the paperwork. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Terrible service. Stay away from this store. I purchased a sofa and chair both leather and paid with my cc. After over a month giving the run around as to when I would get my items they finally tell me that the chair is discontinued . Offering me the floor model which I declined. Now they won't refund the money for the chair. I keep calling they say they have to call back and they don't. I filed a case against them with my cc company. Still waiting to see what happens. When my couch finally came it had scratches and the pillows were so cheap looking and had stuffing hanging out and threads were hanging from the tattered trim. They tell you how their furniture is so high quality when in fact it is not. Don't be fooled.

4000k sofa, after working and saving to buy. 1 YR after purchase the finish on the leather is rubbing off looks like cheap vinyl, I am heart broken. I'm a first responder I don't usually buy luxury items this was a reclining leather??? Sofa. I am just sick shame on Ashley.

Horrible customer service. Bought furniture over a year ago, THEY LOST MY CONTRACT, I tried paying for 6 months, to which I was told it is still pending, only to receive a letter stating I was overdue and to pay up. THEY LOST MY CONTRACT!!! So ASHLEY CORPORATE office told me to sign an order for them to pick it up, I did, they NEVER came, and sent my account to collections. I did my part for 16 months, trying to pay...signing my furniture over, going in and checking on the status every single month, only for them to say " well have someone call you". I never once in 16 months received a call. Wow...I would say word of mouth will keep customers away, but they don't care. Just take a look at BBB. A pitiful excuse for a company.

Our dining room set arrived in terrible condition. You need a seat belt to stay on the chairs as the four legs do not touch the floor at the same time. We refused the set and the delivery men refused to take it back. Ashley will not take it back, give us a refund , nor store credit. It is an unusable $1200 mistake. I would never, ever recommend Ashley Furniture.

Dining set delivered today and was so cheaply made the legs of each chair did not all touch the floor. Even though we paid a lot of money for the set, once it was delivered we could see how cheap it was. My husband tried to refuse delivery at the time, but the men refused to take it back. I have contacted the BBB and the Attorney General of Illinois. Shoddy table and fraud.

Was treated rudely by managers at Ashley furniture in Jacksonville to include their corporate office and River City store. I did not take possession of the furniture and they refused to give me a refund stating all sales are final. Nowhere in the store is this posted. They circle it on your receipt. For online purchases you have 30 days. Please be careful when shopping here.

So..... I got a mattress several months ago as a gift from my mother. My boyfriend and I hate it! But we didn't want to say anything out of respect that she bought it for us. She house sat for us and slept in our bed and told us she hated our mattress and the truth all came out. Turns out she meant to get us the plush not the firm..... Oops! So will Ashley Furniture still take back the one we have and give us the one we want? It's been 5 months or so. I hope I'm not stuck with this awful thing!

I brought a sofa/love seat recliner set. It was delivered with tears on the ends. The love seat sit way too far back and the sofa cushions is all off balance. When the repair was done the leather is now unaligned and the back was stuff with fillings, which makes for very uncomfortable set. I would never purchase from ever. The wait to try to repair the shotty work took over 4 month.

Bought a $2150 living room set from the Ashley store in Santa Ana, CA. Turns out that after the delivery people dropped it off and left I realized it didn't fit in my living room correctly. I called up the store I bought it from and asked if I could exchange it with a smaller set and the manager told me "Sorry we don't except returns - Bye". Not once did they mention this IMPORTANT detail when I was in their showroom buying the set. I will never shop Ashley Furniture again! Horrible customer service. They are just asking for a class action lawsuit with this policy! Think before you shop at one of Ashley's Home-stores.

We bought a 1000$ wooden table from Ashley and we were told it was solid wood. It turns out the legs are made of plastic with a think wood varnish. The varnish is flaking off after 10 months and looks terrible. Don't buy Ashley furniture.

delivered with scratches and rust we were told Ashley furniture has a no return policy. that if you sign for it is yours, sorry. But no one ever tells you this from the sales person to the delivery people this is the case. I know now I would tell anyone I know not to deal with this company and I will never deal with this place again.

We purchased a mattress protector from Ashley Furniture in Palmdale, California. About 3 days after that we found a different brand and model of mattress protector that suite our needs better so we tried to return the one that we bought at Ashley Furniture. It was still 100% brand new, unused and unopened.
When we brought it to the customer service, the customer reps brought the item and receipt into the store manager office, and the after a few minutes came back out and said :" Sorry, we cannot refund this item", and then pointed out to the receipt a few days earlier where it was written that the item was purchased "As is" and can not be returned/exchanged. We were surprised but realized that it was our fault for not checking the receipt on the day we purchased it.
So here we are with an extra item that we probably will never use (it's still in its original package, unopened, with the original receipt inside it), as a reminder to always check the receipt for anything we bought and to never buy anything else from Ashley Furniture.

I will never purchase anything from Ashley furniture again! I bought a dresser, brought it home, and it was busted. Their furniture is junk! I paid a lot of money for a busted dresser only to recieve hassle about returning it. And then to find out I couldn't actually get my money back. Who doesn't have a return policy? I am pregnant with twins and now will not have a dresser for when they arrive because I have to wait a whole month to return. The sales associates nor customer service were helpful at all! I contacted the store 2 days after delivery. They gave me the number of a furniture repairman. They said it would be fixed at no cost. When the repairman came he said we had to pay. The furniture is 4 months old. We paid 165$ for repairs.

Purchased a bedroom set from this company and from day one have had nothing but problems. The bed frame that we purchased was supposed to be a queen, the frame we found was a king. We went to the store in Northridge California the store manager promised to fix the issues and said he would call my wife and never did. So we went back to the store and regional manager was there and promised to help us and when I questioned him he got mad when I told him let me talk and when I said I'll call the corporate office he said " go ahead " and walked away from me. This company is piss poor they never fix issues and doesn't care about customer. They take your money and smile as the f... over. Never will shop their again. My husband and I purchased a 3,400 bedroom set (paid cash) I was so excited the day it came ,after the delivery guys left I went to adore my new bedroom set and found holes all over the place head board , foot board, dressers it looks like someone got a hammer and pounded 15 to 20 nails in a group of places. I called Ashley's and sent pictures to them and they refused to change it out or give us our money back . Do not buy anything from that place , very rude people and scammers work there .

My elderly mother ordered a sectional sofa and a chair in June 2015. The sectional had scratches on it when it was delivered. My mother was told by the delivery team to call Ashely Furniture about the damage. She was given the corporate office number to call. She called corporate, they in turn and scheduled a technician to come out. However, return policies differ from store to store and this store says they do not take the furniture back and refused to negotiate any pricing on the damaged furniture. The Ashely representatives told us that according to the paperwork, once furniture is delivered and you sign the paperwork for it, it becomes your furniture and essentially your problem. I spoke to an awful customer service on the Guest response corporate office team named Charisma today, 7/22/2015. I read to her what the return policy says on line about the stores being able to set their own return policy if they are individually owned. She told me the corporate office has the last say despite what it says on line under return policy. I said I would call back and talk to someone else and she told me that the call would still come back around to her. She has no customer service skills. It is sad that she represents the face of the company to customers. It's not a good look.
Buyer beware, make sure you inspect every inch of your furniture at delivery time and don't sign the paperwork if you see any scratches or form of damage. They clearly took advantage of my 72 year old mother. Again, Buyer BEWARE of Ashely Furniture!

This was the Ashley Store in Milpitas, California...I put a cash deposit of $500 towards a total purchase of $2300 on July 5, 2015. I was informed that they would not order the couches until the order was paid in full, which was fine with me. They stated that this item would be classified as a layaway. However now just 17 days later I found the same Ashley brand couches at another furniture store in Fremont, Ca. So when I called Ashley, they told me they will charge me at 10% cancelation fee, which equals $230! A cancelation fee for what I asked? They have not done anything yet except take my money! The couches had not been ordered, nor removed from the showroom floor. I feel that I have been robbed for my money. Why, because I was able to buy this item at $700 less somewhere else. Also, this store advertised a huge sale last weekend, so I went into the store to see if my couches were discounted. Much to my surprise the price was marked at $3699, crossed out and the new price not shown. When I asked a salesman how much the couches were now, he told me $2795 which is more than the first original price. Boy what a sale this is! I will be contacting the district attorney to report this store for consumer fraud.DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE THEY WILL CHEAT YOU AND ROB YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!

Everything is fine but I'm really not happy with the accent chair -- it just doesn't work within my living room. What? That's crazy. I've just reviewed my sales paperwork and there's a statement on there about refunds -- they state refunds will be made by the method of payment. What is going on here? How is this legal?

I bought a chair from the Shiloh, Illinois store. I have had my new chair 1 day and find it uncomfortable and called the store to try to return it. I was informed once it has been accepted that there are NO returns. I was able to return a chair for the same reason 3 years ago. Looks like the policy has changed. Screw you customer! The only reason I got a new chair is because the 3 year old one broke and the chair is no longer made. I had bought the insurance so it helped pay for a new chair I don't like

I bought brand new furniture from Ashley's and was given unwrapped dirty it looked used refused to take it there were black marks along the back and the new table was scratched. Talked to a manager and was told that the next stuff would be still in factory wrapping not only did the truck show up but the couch was not wrapped riding around getting dirty and banged up and it even says on the work order that to leave it wrapped I guess they can not read. This has been number three from me just want my money back but its just a big no. What a joke of a company will not ever shop there again and I will make sure I tell everyone about my bad experience there. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU SIGN. Just one more thing there idea of what's new and what I think is new are to different things. There's is let us fix it I did not pay to have it fixed I paid to have it come not damaged new not needing repairs.

Ashley employees entered our home delivering a sofa and tore a hole in a new vinyl floor. Now they claim they are not responsible. Will not shop there again. They do not stand behind there products nor service. So much for local.

Bought a reclining couch. Got it home sat in it and reclining pieces were scratches. Not reclining correctly. Returned to store was told oh yah we will just order you an entire new couch takes about a week. Well here I am a week later, and now being told they are fixing it will take another week. I didn't damage this furniture. Give me a new property working couch like a paid for. Never will buy again from here.

Mother is going through chemo. Went to Ashley in late October and bought a sleeper sofa for her visit on 12/23/14. Never heard back from anyone about when it would be delivered. Went BACK to the store to find out, was told would be in warehouse on 12/17/14 so I requested delivery on 12/19. (They originally said it was scheduled for 12/23/14 - NOT ACCEPTABLE, especially WHEN I WAS NEVER CALLED.) Stay at home neighbor had to be there to inspect it since I actually work to make my living. She called me and said that they tried every angle but that it wouldn't fit. Well, I needed a place for my mom to sleep so she accepted the delivery. Now, they won't allow me to get a refund since I "accepted the delivery." I bought on their financing. They also gave me run around by saying I could do a reselect and pick out something that night (this was 12/20 when I called first thing in a.m. but nobody called me back as promised ALL day)- at this point it was 8 p.m. and they were closing at 9. I said I couldn't do that, I didn't want or need any other furniture (I spent $5K when I was there in October) and that why didn't anyone call me all day and tell me this?!? So, I had this giant sleeper sofa in the middle of my entire family room lying on its side with 12 other people coming to my house for the holidays - UNACCEPTABLE b/c they also said they couldn't come pick it up until 12/26. So, now had to had pay someone else $120 to come pick it up and still out over $1K in a purchase which I no longer even have. Whoever heard of such a thing? If you buy something and it doesn't work out, there should be other options. Oh, and btw, Ashley Furniture, I don't know if it was defective or not b/c it was never completely set up!!!!!!!!!!! I will never buy from there again and will dispute that charge on their financing bank account. I won't pay it...end of story.

I purchased from Ashley furniture for the first time and last time, unless they can show me that they know what customer service is. They delivered a living room set which looked great, until the rest of my furniture came from the old house. My dining room table is too large so I need to return one of the living room end tables. I contacted Ashley right away on Monday and to my surprise - no refunds. I even offered to accept a store credit. The sales person said it was the policy of "Acceptance Now", who I used for a 90 day same as cash purchase. When I spoke with a rep from AN - they said it was the stores policy not to accept returns or do a refund. Really! I hate games. How about taking care of your customer! There are no notations on any of my paperwork stating refunds/returns are not accepted. What a racket they have going. Never again!!!

FINALLY got in touch with the manager after demanding to speak with him for 2 days! and he is willing to fix my issue and let me purchase 2 chairs off of the sales floor. Glad I'm getting my issue resolved but aside from the Manager "Orlando" horrible customer service from the rest of the staff "Estella, Bianca, and Customer Service 800 #". HORRIBLE Customer service- they do not care about their customers, especially after they make a sale. Got delivered 2 wrong chairs for my kitchen table and when I talked to the store to try and get the problem fixed was told I couldn't purchase 2 extra chairs for my kitchen table and that they have a no return policy EVEN THOUGH THEY SOLD ME A 5 PIECE TABLE SET + (SUPPOSEDLY) 2 EXTRA CHAIRS. So I am stuck buying a 4 seating table when I paid, ordered, and was SOLD a 6 seating table. Have been getting the run around for 3 days and unable to talk to a manager or even my salesperson to help- they have been too busy with "customers"!!! Will Never ever do business with them again what a horrible way to be treated as a first time customer. Sadly to say I would rather keep my business with Badcock- and that's sad. I did this purchase at the Lakeland, FL office , my sales person was Estella, and the Person I was " told" was the manager is supposedly named Orlando. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BUSINESS!

We selected a power double recliner, now called loveseat, in leather. Had to wait 5 weeks, ok, finally it is delivered and immediately we noticed the lack of quality. (Is this what we picked out? Wow, can't believe we missed all this?) So reviewed our paperwork: no mention of returns or refunds at all. So called the store: policy is we had to "return" it within 48 hours of purchase -- the purchase date (I confirmed with them) was FIVE WEEKS AGO! How can you return something you haven't yet received??? So our only option now is to bring it back for in-store credit only, to exchange it for something else they have. Well we can't see chasing another item around and waiting to be disappointed again, surely we would buy something "better" next time, and surely they would not have it in stock. Do not want to waste more time, we already got shafted on the money.

Details on chair: 2 sides don't line up with each other and there are gaps in between the 2. The leather was "touching surfaces only", but they put the vinyl on the footrest (it's a RECLINER! we put our feet up don't we?) Also the whole chair is smaller than we remember, both our feet hang off the ends, and I'm only 5 ft 5. Besides it's not as fluffy... and the back looks terrible because that vinyl doesn't go all the way down near the floor, you can easily see the framework underneath. Makes our house look cheap.

I purchased furniture and paid cash with the promised of a 3 week delivery but after purchasing the goods Ashleys hacks cross in memphis came back 2 weeks later to say the furniture is due in April or May. I asked to cancel the order and refund my cash. The store on hacks cross in memphis said it takes 14 days to refund my cash. I am so angry and will not buy goods from ashleys again. I have called and no one will give me status of my refund for 576.00 transacted on 2.22.14. I am writing a letter to the BBB. I am also looking into a small claims lawsuit.

I would like to make it public that I have canceled my order within a 24hr. period of time, and have gotten no response from Corp. headquarters or the store manager that had told me that I would receive a call by closing hours today, I called three times and at the end of the day I was told she left the store,by my 4th call the store had closed. I purchased yesterday 2/22/2004.

I wanted to share my experience at Ashley Furniture. I too have purchased furniture at the store for my personal use. The sales person sold me a "warranty." I spent extra money, only to find out the warranty didn't really cover much on the furniture. My recent experience is with the Ashley store...different date and time. (He told me his schedule and gave me his business card so I could ask for him when I returned.) When I returned to purchase the furniture, he expressed he couldn't give me free deliver unless I was going to purchase more furniture....
